Am I really alone here ? ... paint ?Lets work this in reverse... yesterday, and then going back in time to 1946. paint.Driving down HWY 97 today, I see three rods headed north... a show ?editors notation: WARNING ! this blog has "sarcasm" in it... no more emails , please !A really good looking '37 Chev coupe with one of those 1/2 round rod trailers behind, a '27 Ford tudor dropped, but stock, with a blower; and a '34 fibreglass Ford roadster/350 Chev.... all three were resplendant with WOW paint jobs... the '37 was tri-tone purpled, the '27 fire truck red, the '34 roadgrader yellow with green ? flames... the '34 had 21" rims and tires like electric tape. (not that they don't elsewhere, but), tonite, beer-in-hand, I walk out to the yard.My colony of feral cats scatter like I am going to make glove liners out of them !! the twilight lends this eerie glow all over everything, and, its 60 degrees ! Sometimes things say stuff to you. (I am really a hopeless metaphysical person, I have conversed with mechanical devices for years ! .....there, I've said it !)Tonite, Me and the '62 Buick sorta' stared at each other, (it really deserves better...) I have collected all the parts/pieces, and, am about ready to get it running...
