| Postcards From the Edge | | 2007-07-23 08:12:47 | | Over the weekend, I received a postcard from Boris of Travel Junkie. He sent it while in Hervey Bay, along Fraser Coast, in Queensland, Australia. The postage was $1.25 AUD, which seems like quite a deal considering how far the little piece of paper had to travel.
The nicely written postcard was a “thank you” in return for a 5 euro (~$8) donation I made after reading his very well written Support page. If you check it out, you’ll see I qualified as a Breakfast Supporter, while he is still awaiting his first Sushi (6-24 euro) and Gordon Ramsay (25+ euro) supporters.
Once I get a little closer to my own departure, I’m going to put up a similar page. Unlike Boris, who is offering to send some gifts for higher donations, I thought I would offer to do activities that people suggest.
