| 2008 U.S. Presidential Elections - How the outcome might affect us! | | 2008-01-04 12:23:00 | | The U.S. mainland has gone crazy about politics since the start of 2008! It's not surprising though. In less than a year, the Americans will choose who among a woman, an African-American and a bunch of white dudes will get to be the most powerful man ( or woman ) on the face of the planet. This also will ultimately decide which direction America will take in the next four years in terms of economy and foreign policy among others but the two mentioned will have the biggest impact on outsourced jobs here in the Philippines and to the Philippines as a whole.I usually blog during the wee hours of the morning and while I'm typing away I have my T.V. on Foxnews channel watching the "ruckus" of the caucus in Iowa. I was a bit surprised how dirty politics in the U.S. was! In a nutshell, it is perfectly legal for a presidential hopeful to run T.V. ads to discredit their opponents.
