| Developing Multi-Mappings for Integration Processes in SAP XI | | 2008-08-22 08:44:36 | | Purpose This section describes how to develop a multi-mapping for a transformation step in an integration process. In this case, the mapping runtime supports 1:n, n:1, and n:m transformations. Prerequisites The procedure described below requires that the message schemas for the messages to be mapped already exist in the Integration Repository (see also Features in Multi-Mappings) and that they are assigned to asynchronous, abstract message interfaces. You can only use this interface type in integration processes. Furthermore, all objects (integration process, interface mapping, and all objects referenced by the interface mapping) must be in the same software component version. If you want to reference objects from underlying software component versions, you must access the objects from the Basis Objects branch (in the navigation tree or using an input help) (see also: Underlying Software Component Versions). | | Integration Scenario Editor Enabling Application-to-Application Processes | | 2008-07-09 23:04:17 | | Use You use the integration scenario editor to display and edit integration scenarios. In the interactive graphical work area, you can visualize the integration scenario as a Component View. In a component view, you can display the process flow of an integration scenario and assign other objects, which define how messages are exchanged. You can define multiple component views for an integration scenario. Prerequisites You have created a new integration scenario or have opened an existing one. If multiple component views are defined for one integration scenario, you can select one component view after you have opened the integration scenario editor (see: Defining Multiple Component Views for an Integration Scenario). Features In the work area of the integration scenario editor, the name of the selected component view is displayed in the Component View Name field. At the bottom of the screen area there is an interactive graphical interface that you can use to visualize the pro... | | By: Free SAP XI Books,Projects And Interview Questions | | |

| | | | Statistical Values for Foreign Trade Processes in SAP MM | | 2008-04-07 14:49:54 | | Use Every item a country imports or exports must have a statistical value associated with it when it passes through customs. The statistical value is the net domestic value (fair market value) of a product when it crosses a border. (The fair market value is the price the product is normally sold at in the manufacturer's domestic market.) This value is needed for each exported or imported item for INTRASTAT and EXTRASTAT declarations in the European Community (EC). It is used as a basis for keeping track of foreign trade statistics. The statistical value is printed on the appropriate customs documents such as the Single Administrative Document (SAD) in the EC, the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) in the US, and the export report in Japan. The statistical value is a measure of the actual value of the goods imported or exported and does not include the value added tax (VAT) or all of the transportation and insurance costs. | | Which kind of interfaces do ALE business processes use in SAP? | | 2008-03-30 09:41:29 | | ALE business processes are integrated processes across distributed systems, requiring interfaces between the systems. These interfaces have to be stable to enable the communication between different releases and to reduce the impact of release changes within the distributed environment. In SAP R/3 release 3.0 and 3.1 ALE uses IDocs as interfaces. An IDocs is a data container for transferring messages asynchronously. They are release independent. Since SAP Release 3.1G BAPIs are a new type of object oriented, stable interfaces that can be called synchronously or asynchronously.Asynchronous BAPIs use IDocs as data containers. ALE business processes can use BAPIs as well. In the future new ALE business processes will use BAPIs as interfaces. But the existing IDocs will still be supported. In time, BAPIs will be created with similar functionality to existing IDoc interfaces.LOCKS IN SAP ABAPBUFFERING IN SAP ABAPINTERNAL TABLES IN ABAPWhat is ALE In SAP?What are the benefits of ALE I... | | By: Free SAP ABAP,BASIS,APO Material And Faq's | | |
| | Which ALE business processes are available in SAP? | | 2008-03-30 09:40:42 | | ALE business processes are integrated business processes that run across distributed systems. This can be two different SAP systems, links between SAP and non-SAP systems, SAP and Web-servers (Internet Application Components) or SAP and desktop applications. The links between the systems may be loosely (asynchronous) or tightly (synchronous) coupled. These business processes are release independent and can run between different release levels of the systems. Many SAP applications offer ALE distribution processes. The following list gives some examples: Master data replication:- Material- Customer- Vendor- General Ledger accounts- Bill of materials- ... Accounting:- Links to logistic systems- Distributed financial accounting- Distributed cost center accounting- Distributed special ledger- Profitability analysis- Distributed profit center accounting- Consolidation- Treasury- ...
