I have not tried the online stuff yet, only to register my son's dog because he's only 5 and probably will not be able to register it himself, however, I feel that these reviews should be about the product itself and not about the online/web problems people have had. It is not the sellers fault that the webkinz site is down. As for the Disappointed reviewer, you probably got a lil' kinz instead of the full size webkinz. In any event, I found it to be an amusing mother-daughter bonding activity.I gained a new appreciation for real wooden telephone poles today that you can actually use a staple gun on. I also blanketed the laundromat, the library, the farmer's market, the park and the neighborhood by the elementary school. I tried to get into the Senior Citizens Center because I know how clingy some of those folks can get (heaven forgive them if one of them snuck off with our puppy), but it was locked. Now just to sit back, cross our fingers and wait. Penny is optimistic.My darling husband, by the way, says I'm retarded. I have no rebuttal.Update: I got a voice mail the day after posting the signs. When I had first set my eyes on the tiny chocolate Labrador whelp, I noticed his coat was remarkably white. I named him Sherlock- the one with white locks. Dad calls him Sherry; to his trainer he is Sheru, while mom calls him by assorted endearments in used to address a darling child. Surprisingly, Sherlock responds to every call. (A few years back I had a Pom, Watson, who would start yelping wildly every time the phone rang. His name was inspired by that of Thomas Watson, assistant to Alexander Graham Bell. The duo had invented the telephone and Watson was the first person ever to hear a phone ring.)Though Sherlock is only a pre-teen going by Labrador life expectancy he is already the perfect gentleman. He’ll kiss you if you extend your cheek in greeting and raise his front right paw in a handshake gesture when you’re properly introduced to him.
