Mainly that it’s not working. If you look in the official Ubisoft forums you will notice a few threads regarding a connection error messages that people are receiving when they try and connect to an online game. Inviting or joining gives them “Connection to Host has been lost” or “Connection Failed” messages, when their not kicked out after 10 minutes or suffer frome extreme lag. So if you’ve got the choice, go for the Xbox 360 version.

The script has this wonderful, unspeakably awful way of every time a character talks to another character, they refer to that other character by name. It's like the screenwriters went to a seminar and heard the use of names is good for emphasis. Revealing emphasis or some such nonsense.
I had intended starting this post with a comparison between made-for-cable cop mysteries with b-movies from the 1950s, but Rainbow Drive is so bad--well, I guess, it's bad like most of those 1950s b-movies. It's a substantial and feature-packed game: It includes all the features of the 360 version (bar the Vision Cam face-mapping technology) and the recently released Player's Pack Red Edition, new multiplayer maps, and some extra tweaks like using the Sixaxis to control the under-the-door snake camera. The single-player campaign is exactly the same as we've seen before in the 360 version, and it's a far more substantial campaign than what we've seen from this franchise previously. Whereas previous Rainbows were little more than a series of well-designed skirmishes loosely hooked together in sequence, the new game is actually built around a story arc. While it's certainly not the most imaginative narrative you'll ever come across, it does bring the game a far greater sense of purpose than we've seen in previous episodes, despite being marred by a Halo 2–style cliff-hanger ending. It's fun, it's relatively short, but it's not really the reason people play Rainbow Six games.The real meat comes from the multiplayer modes, which in this version include two co-op modes (a four-player version of the story mode, which is tremendous fun, and a co-op terrorist hunt) and eight adversarial modes. Of most interest are the two new modes from Red Edition, Total Conquest and Assassination. The former is a team-based capture-and-hold game, which is remarkably fast-paced when played on some of the smaller maps, and requires coordinated teamwork for the best results. Thankfully the voice functionality is remarkably clear, with all the chat noticeably less crunchy than that heard on the 360 version. Después pasamos a comprar un pastel y nos dirigimos hacia el teatro. La obra empezaba a las 7:00pm y apenas llegamos, lo bueno fue que la amiga de Mijeong nos había reservado asientos. El musical se llamaba "Rainbow" y era una adaptación de la película "Dangerous Minds" (1995 Michelle Pfeiffer) y aunque no entendía completamente los diálogos sabía de que se trababa la obra puesto que ya ví la película hace algunos años. | FtBU Preview Rainbow Six: Vegas | | 2006-11-22 12:47:00 | | I recently had a chance to try out the next iteration of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series at the Best Buy Games Summit in Toronto.Take the crazy shooting of KillSwitch mix it with the gameplay of Battlefield 2 and throw in a bunch of squad based tactics and you'll come pretty close to the Rainbow Six: Vegas formula. Although my time was limited and I had only played one Rainbow Six game before, it looked visually impressive on the Xbox 360 so I decided to try it out and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to just pick up and play and be a somewhat effective squad leader. I was most impressed by the cover system working in conjunction with the always great UbiSoft camera system. Progressing forward and then diving for cover never looked so natural. It was also responsive and allowed for really sneaky or run and gun play. However if you take a run at it and ignore the cover completely you'll be quickly met with an early demise. The AI is sharp and I mean like broken glass sharp. They'll pick your squad moving under cover from over 100 yards away and open fire when the time is just right.I have high hopes for this game.
