The action was more intense then ever, on top of the over the top violence that has been lacking in most movies, came back with a vengeance. Now the action is available for you to bring home for your own enjoyment, but there is more...

    It's A Movie Time - Rambo IV
    2008-05-25 03:46:34
At last, I've managed to find some free time to watch this movie, Rambo IV. Even it's theatrical release was way back on January 2008, I've been patiently waiting for this Bluray Disc release. Since the High-Definition (HD) movie release is more enjoyable and pleasurable to watch. I've to say no the Cinema at my area, let it be TGV or GSC (it's picture quality are sucks plus the censorship are horrible.)The first episode of Rambo: First Blood movie was released when I was 5 years old back in 1982. And I'm not surprised why this John Rambo looks very old on his new movie. There is not much expectation for this movie, except the war scene looks impressive with current technologies. A Synopsis for this movie:Twenty years after the last film in the series, John Rambo (SYLVESTER STALLONE) has retreated to northern Thailand, where he's running a longboat on the Salween River. On the nearby Thai-Burma (Myanmar) border, the world's longest-running civil war, the Burmese-Karen conflict, ra

Il Rambo turco e il suo lanciarazzi
    2008-05-14 05:26:49

    Rambo III. Peter MacDonald.
    2008-02-11 07:42:26
According to IMDb, Rambo III was the most expensive movie ever made at the time of its release. It shows. Enormous sets, lots of vehicles--Rambo versus a helicopter, Rambo versus a tank, Rambo in a tank versus a helicopter. For all the money, it ought to look fantastic--except director Peter MacDonald, a camera operator and second unit director... composes like a second unit director and camera operator. It's incredibly boring to watch, no matter what's actually going on. MacDonald shoots wide shots and long shots and close-ups of Stallone. For the majority of the movie, nothing else. His direction drains any energy the film might have. With this one, Stallone changes it up a lot. Most importantly, the politics are essentially gone and the movie really does try for some humanism by giving a face to the Afghani people during the Soviet invasion. When Richard Crenna goes and calls it Russia's Vietnam, however, the metaphors and similes get confused (Rambo is siding against the imperi

    RAMBO Movie Review
    2008-02-04 20:00:02
Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Julie Benz, Graham McTavish Director: Sylvester Stallone First thing to say is that the movie is more graphic than your average action movie. There are many graphic scenes of violence, the most disturbing taking place in the first half of the film. The movie follows John Rambo to Burma where he is [...]

Rambo: First Blood Part II. George P. Cosmatos.
    2008-02-04 10:53:52
Rambo's pretty awful. It's not terrible--not too terrible to watch anyway (at least once, though New York Times critic A.O. Scott should probably be fired for supporting it to any degree). The main technical fault lies with George P. Cosmatos, who somehow managed to stock the crew with capable people (editor Mark Goldblatt is no slouch and Jack Cardiff--you know, the Archer's cinematographer--shot it), but can't shoot an action scene, establishing shot, anything. The second unit stuff of the helicopters is the best composition in the movie. The next big problem, then, lies with the script. And not even Stallone's political commentary, which I'll save for its own paragraph. No, the problem with the script is the movie's mostly action after fifty minutes. Forty or so minutes of chase scenes and shooting and explosions. None of these things, of course, look good. Cosmatos is awful at shooting them. Next problem, the cast. Richard Crenna's terrible, Charles Napier's terrible, Ma

    Review: John Rambo
    2008-01-30 21:27:28
When I heard a year ago that Stallone is making another ‘Rambo’ film, I immediately went ‘WHAT THE FREAKIN’ F**K??!!’ Omigod, I mean, it was like saying that the ‘New Kids On The Block’ are making a come-back and they are gonna rock. Furthermore, Stallone is 60 years old for God’s sake, I do not want to see a Grandpa kicking ass, furthermore on the big screen. I also believe that the ‘Rambo’ franchise had ended with the Russians in ‘Rambo 3’ and everyone should leave it at that, and to respect that. C’mon, Rambo in Iraq? Rambo in North Korea? No way. It will become a joke that no one will laugh at. But a year later and here we are, with ‘John Rambo’, and it’s Stallone with his big bulging biceps, now with additional streaks of grey hair. Everyone, start your laughing. This is gonna suck.WRONG. I saw ‘John Rambo’ over the weekend and it rocked. HARD. Why? Because this is not the super-greased Rambo with the red bandana. No, this is the Rambo in ‘Ra

    Rambo and two new trailers
    2008-01-27 12:05:00
For some unknown reason, perhaps the innate human desire some believe exists to do something simply because we know it is wrong or bad, I decided to go see Rambo yesterday. Predicatbly, Rambo continued sucking right where the second and third Rambo movies left off all those years ago instead of returning to the fine line between sucking and being a half-way decent social commentary raising the question of how a military machine can return to normalcy after a war of the original. There were far too many horrific depictions of genocide that totally sapped the fun out of Rambo killing all the bad guys. Overall a subpar film, and yet still the third best movie I've seen this year (it's only the third movie I've seen this year). Now the real treat was before the movie began. There were two trailers that I was excited about and both for very different reasons. The first one was The Son of Rambow. This movie that was shown at Sundance last year is about two young boys who see a bootleg c

20 years since Rambo III Sylvester Stallone has revived Rambo. He wrote and directed this new action flick. "Rambo" Endorses McCain
    2008-01-26 00:55:37
Apparently there's some sort of action movie star primary going on too. First Chuck Norris endorses Huckabee and now this:Now all we have to wait for is Bruce Willis to endorse somebody and this "primary" will be over. I'd include Ahnold but since he currently holds a political office of real import his endorsement might actually carry some weight.

    Rambo 4, are we ready?
    2008-01-25 11:56:56
The 4th Rambo movie is in theaters today. Is the world ready for another Rambo movie? Most of the reviews so far have been negative because they have been comparing this Rambo movie with the last one, made over 20 years ago. Those poor critics don't realize that the great majority of the film goers have never heard of the first 3 Rambo movies since this movie caters to the late teens and early

    Caption Contest: Rambo 4
    2008-01-25 10:33:06
Yes, believe it or not, having put the cap on the Rocky series, old Sly is now resurrecting the Rambo franchise. When last we left Rambo, he was assisting the Mujahideen in their struggle to throw rocks at the Soviet army fleeing Afghanistan. Now, still tormented by events that occurred about six wars ago, he becomes a reluctant one man army fighting against something or other that is interfering with his busy Matlock-watching schedule. And I was there when it all went down.Submit your captions in the comments. I'll post the best ones in a poll on Tuesday. Have fun!Listed on humor-blogs.com.

Korkusuz - Turkish Ripoff of Rambo
    2007-12-18 12:57:55
Watch the final climatic moments of ‘Korkusuz’, a Turkish film directed by cult film legend Cetin Inanc. The film’s main lead has obviously been modeled on John Rambo, the defining action hero of the 80’s, and soon to be resurrected and played by a man in his ’80s (That was a joke, a poor one, but I couldn’t resist). © 2007 JazJaz.net. The official Rambo website is now online. I have to say this is one of the best-looking Flash websites I’ve ever seen, similar to 300’s. You get the usual movie website stuff, like the synopsis, picture galleries, trailers, wallpapers and cast & crew bios. In some of the photos Stallone looks so buff he could tear a bear in half with his bare hands. Little by little more content will be added, but what is there now is worthy of a visit. Rambo
    2007-05-23 20:27:00
John Rambo here is a bright idea. It sounds like Stallone is trying hard to make a come back and with Rocky 745(I don’t even know what the number was) not doing too well. Stallone has to make another Rambo movie (you would think he would have learned his lesson after Rambo 3)You have to watch the trailer or promo. It is one of the funny things on the internet. I don’t think they were trying to be funny but the way he kills people is…Just FUNNY!!!From the promo John Rambo has been living in south East Asia all this time. He is ask to go to take some peace keeping do gooders in to the Jungle(war zone) He refuse and then later has to save their hides. The first 2 minute of the promo is very boring but when he chops the head off a bad guy and use the anti-tank guy to shoot another bad guy at close range that is where the roller coaster of humor begins.Enjoy
