    SIP - A Reality Check : Series 2
    2008-07-01 23:24:00
Last Time we did a fair bit of number crunching to find that SIP is not a Magic Tool after allSo this is time to find out if SIP's not such a great tool -- then why are people recommending it, one thing u and me hav to accept is they are recommending and not investing so there's no monetary loss from them. SIP is being projected as the next big thing for responsibility like saving ur money regularly in the bank, so the commonman falls for some thing which is similar but not same."Bad Street Boys" :: So enthused by the new work that i found out other than makkhiya marna. I called up the neat guy (ideal for corporate hoardings) and enquired about SIP. The bloke told me all that usual stuff. Then after he talked a lot I offered him a cuppa Coffee and slowly I asked him the details i wanted so after an half an hour I thanked him for providing me all the details.I will offer u behind the stage Scenes with detailed information. Now I'm quiet tired by talking I'l share it day a...

    2008-06-24 23:24:00
Recently I saw a Lot of articles like how to become a crorepati (Refer Moneycontrol, .....)Whenever the market Falls the Technical Analysts( Thos guys u find on cnbc with coats on even in blazing heat) find SIP a really easy product to refer. 99.9% websites say that SIP is the Ultimate route to heaven (for whom)So a Reality Check was done on the sensex being the Index with assumptions like considering the opening price and the date nearest to 15th and the sip was entered when the market has crumble i.e. on march 15 2007The result obtained was astounding 10% loss with lots of units left off to sell ( and still with bears left and hell loose==> more pain). So SIP is beneficial to u or those distributor guys who tell u fairytales when u go to buy a mfDetailed Calculations : Click HereMore on this in the next series. Reality Check
    2008-05-16 19:38:59
I have this notion to write a series of columns from time to time under the title “Reality Check” — columns intended to explain how the world of Information Technology actually functions. Because like any other entrenched, complex, and often closeted industry, things in IT don’t really work the way many people think they [...] ...

    Reality [TV] Check
    2008-04-09 18:50:20
American Idol 7's Top 12 is finally revealed. Before the 3-week eliminations began, I had 12 contestants in mind who would make it to the top 12. Unfortunately, six of them were sent home. The worse part is, four of them, namely, Kady Malloy, Luke Menard, Asia'h Epperson, and Danny Noriega, were the last four people who were voted off on the way to completing the top 12. The remaining six that I have chosen are the ones on the right column. Tsk. I was sooo disappointed. Instead of them, I think these people must have been the ones to be removed from the competition (Note: my personal opinion)1. Amanda Overmyer - she's unique. That's it. I don't see her as a future Idol star. Sorry.2. Kristy Lee Cook - Alaina (voted off during week 2) is far better. Kady, too.3. Chikezie - I might be wrong but my initial reaction is he's not okay for me. That's all. ...

    Nuclear Iran: Reality Check (ii)
    2008-02-06 23:57:00
"2008 may yet provide Iran with an opportunity to relentless pursue its enrichment program while the world focuses on the U.S. Presidential race. As important as the next U.S. President may be, we cannot afford to allow the race to dim our view ... obscure our judgment. "Before we consider the opinions of the many who have drawn the same conclusion, know this first:Iran has no need for nuclear energy because of its immense oil and natural gas reserves which are equivalent to 9.3 percent of the world's reserves. In fact, Iran has 73,000,000,000 cubic feet of natural gas, an amount second only to the natural gas reserves of Russia.Iran remains the world's leading sponsor of international terrorism and is on the Department of State's list of countries that provide support for acts of international terrorism.Iran has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel. Iran supports organizations such as Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestine Islamic Jihad, which are responsible for terrorist at...

A Career In Pro Wrestling: Reality Check
    2007-11-10 23:15:00
Professional Wrestling is now one of the most popular, exciting, and highest paying sports in the world today. And with that popularity and high pay, there is a whole new generation of aspiring young people who are seriously interested in one day becoming a Professional Wrestling Superstar. Wrestlers are some of the most famous celebrities in the world, and they do make tons of money, and their lives are pretty exciting. But most aspiring wrestlers do not realize that the life of a pro wrestler involves tremendous work, dedication, constantly traveling, and frequent painful injuries. Being a pro wrestler may seem glamorous, but it’s anything but. Most people only see wrestlers once or twice a week on television and think that’s all they do. What these people don’t get to see are all practices and rehearsals that are not televised. During these rehearsals and practice a wrestler is in the ring every day for hours at a time. And if you thing that’s not hard work, go to a wrestling school and go at it for about 15 minutes. Here is a typical day on the road for a WWE Pro Wrestler: You wake up at 7:00 in the morning. You get to the airport at 8:30. You take a flight across the country and arrive at 11:00. After renting a car, checking into a hotel room, and something to eat, it’s 1:00. Time to go to a photo shoot. So you drive to a mall and sign autographs until 3:00. It’s time to head on over to the arena. Getting through traffic, you might make it by 4:30. After you eat something and do a short workout, it’s 5:30. At that time you go talk to one of the bookers and he goes over your match with you. If you can find the time, you and your opponent do a quick run down of what’s going to happen. By then it’s 7:00 and it’s time to go on. You wrestle a match and leave the arena at 10:00. You get to the hotel by 12:00 and get some sleep before you do it all over again in the morning. Now find time to workout and keep the marvelous body a wrestler has. And you...
