| | Mariah Carey Hangs Up On Reggie Yates from Radio Live! | | 2008-03-31 18:47:26 | | Mariah Carey who is currently promoting her new album E=Mc2, gave a telephone interview to BBC Radio 1’s Reggie Yates yesterday. During the short phone-in interview they were off to a great start talking about Will Ferrell until Reggie says, “You’ve sold over 80 million albums worldwide…” Mimi immediately stops him and says, “Is that the right quote?” She says she’s going to go ask someone and the line goes dead! Of course Reggie thinks she hung up on him but I honestly think MC probably accidentally hung-up and then said aw well he doesn’t know that I sold 160 million records not 80 million anyway!Listen to the interview:... | | By: Celebrity Rag | | |

| | Dolphins sign Charlie Anderson; plus a little info on Reggie Torbor | | 2008-02-29 18:50:47 | | First off, the Miami Herald is reporting that the Dolphins have signed Texans' linebacker Charlie Anderson. All I really know about Anderson is that he can play special teams and that he might be versatile enough to play inside or outside linebacker. By the way, hat tip to hotrod43 for pointing this out. Moving on, I got in touch with Ed Valentine of Big Blue View to get some thoughts on Reggie Torbor. Here's what he told me: New York Giants' fans are not surprised that Reggie Torbor left New York for the Miami Dolphins. Torbor was never going to be more than a backup with the Giants, and the opportunity to compete for a starting spot was too enticing. Torbor has good athletic ability for an outside linebacker, but prior to this season his primary impact with the Giants had always been on special teams -- where he excels. Torbor took over at outside linebacker this season when Mathiam Kiwanuka got hurt, and did a good job. In previous opportunities at linebacker, T... | | By: The Phinsider | | |

| | From the Mailroom: Beating Around the Reggie Bush | | 2007-08-07 02:47:16 | | The fantasy football landscape in 2007 is littered with questions. Everywhere you turn, there is uncertainty. And it seems that answers, unfortunately, are hard to come by.We here at TJI Fantasy Sports do our best to personally answer every email request for advice. Whether it's who to draft, who to start, a trade evaluation, or just an overall analysis of your lineup, if you write, we will answer. And if your question is especially poignant or one we think the masses could benefit from, we'll publish it here in our "From the Mailroom" segment. This week's question comes to us from Gregg in Portland, Maine. He asks: How much can we expect from Reggie Bush this season? Is he worth a first round pick?Gregg isn't the only one with Bush on his mind. More people write to us about Reggie than about any other player in the NFL. The problem with Reggie is that his rookie season gave us only a glimpse of his true potential. In 2007, Bush is at a crossroads. A repeat of his underwhelming 200... | | By: This Just In | | |
| | 2007 Fantasy Football Player Profile-Reggie Wayne | | 2007-07-05 14:00:00 | | WR Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts
2006 Stats: 86 receptions, 1310 receiving yards, 9 TDsProjected 2007 Stats: 93 receptions, 1455 receiving yards, 13 TDsProjected Fantasy Round: 3rd RoundWide Receivers to be Picked ahead of Reggie Wayne: Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson, and Steve Smith
Fantasy Outlook:
Why should you draft Reggie Wayne: Reggie Wayne has not missed a single game since he was a rookie in 2001. Over the past three seasons, Wayne has finished each year with over 75 receptions and quadruple figures in yardage. Last season, he only had three games where he had less than three receptions, and he had five contests where he hit the century mark in receiving yards.
Why you may want to stay away from drafting Reggie Wayne: Peyton Manning likes to spread the ball around to multiple receivers, which means there will be games where Wayne has mediocre stats. In 2006, Wayne had six games where he had 70 receiving yards or fewer, and he had nine contests where he was held out of the... | | By: DR U Fantasy Football GURU | | |
| | 2007 Fantasy Football Player Profile-Reggie Bush | | 2007-05-22 14:00:00 | | RB Reggie Bush, New Orleans Saints
2006 Stats: 565 rushing yards, 742 receiving yards, 8 total TDsProjected 2007 Stats: 605 rushing yards, 1001 receiving yards, 14 total TDsProjected Fantasy Round: 1st Round Running Backs to be Picked ahead of Reggie Bush: LaDainian Tomlinson, Steven Jackson, and Larry Johnson
Fantasy Outlook:
Why should you draft Reggie Bush: Reggie Bush is the kind of running back that fantasy owners covet. He is a dual threat that can dent the scoreboard whenever he touches the ball. With Tiki Barber retiring, and Brian Westbrook aging, Bush could rapidly emerge as the most potent all-purpose running back in the NFL. Bush had at least four receptions in all but three games in 2006, and all but one of his touchdowns came in the final five weeks of the season. In other words, Bush eventually learned how to adjust to the speed of the game, which means opposing defenses are in a world of trouble.
