| Reporter Attacked On Camera by Three Women | | 2008-04-18 14:59:20 | | A reporter for WSPA in Spartanburg, S.C. was attacked while covering a murder investigation.According the the WSPA Websitereporter Charmayne Brown and was standing on public property when a group surrounded her and started punching. Brown says she was across the street from the victim’s house when family members began yelling at her to leave.Brown says the group was also yelling racial slurs at her and her photographer. She says one of the women in the group then rushed at her, punched her and dragged her to the ground. She says at that point it’s hard for her to recall what was going on, but WPSA's satellite truck operator Ray Daubenspeck says he also saw the woman punching her. | Appel interjeté par Noriega devrait reporter encore son extradition vers la France. | | 2007-09-08 09:24:48 | | Bâtiment de la Cour d’appelde l’Onzième Circonscription Judiciaire des Etats-Unis.Les avocats de Noriega ont interjeté appel dès qu’ils ont eu connaissance hier du rejet de l’action d’habeas corpus qu’ils avaient présenté devant le Juge Hoeveler à Miami deux jours auparavant. L’appel a été interjeté par internet et ensuite confirmé par écrit. Contrairement à ce qui a été dit dans certains médias, le juge Hoeveler n’a pas statué sur un appel de Noriega mais sur une requête de révision de l’ordonnance qu’il avait rendu le 28 août dernier. Cette demande de révision était une étape obligée pour pouvoir interjeter appel. L'appel devra suspendre pour plusieurs mois l’extradition de Noriega en France, et le Département d’État a confirmé que Condoleezza Rice ne signera par le Certificat d’Extradition de Noriega avant que la procédure judiciaire soit achevée. Le dossier sera transmis à la Cour d’appel de l’Onzième Circonscription Judiciaire des Etats-Unis situé à Atlanta, État du Georgia. Cette Cour connaît des appels interjetés contre des décisions rendues dans les États d’Alabama, Floride et Georgia. Les arrêts sont rendus collégialement par trois magistrats. Cette Cour est connue pour être la plus débordée des Etats-Unis.
