| | Gaza: Periodista palestino de Reuters grabó su muerte | | 2008-04-17 11:35:33 | |
.

| Chronic illness is main factor for taking supplements, so Reuters says. | | 2008-04-04 15:46:00 | | I read an article from Reuters today Chronic illness main factor in supplement use. It's focus is from a study done and states: Having one or more chronic illness is the primary factor associated with the use of dietary supplements. Cancer survivors also use supplements to treat chronic medical conditions, but not specifically for cancer, a new study shows.I have to say I've never had cancer or any other disease like this and I'm a supplement user. I take a whole food supplement because I don't always eat right, even though I do try. I also know how poor our food source is today so even the perfect eaters are not getting the same nutrients they would have gotten even 10 years ago.Yes, I also market this whole food multi that I take every day and not one of my customers have had cancer or any serious disease. They take the supplement to "supplement their diet."Reuters article here.Whole Food Nation www.AreVitaminsSafe.com... | | By: Whole Food And More | | |
| | Reuters issue bogus report on FNL "amnesty" | | 2008-04-01 18:09:00 | | Reuters' latest report on Burundi claims that the FNL have demanded an amnesty, and that the Burundian government say they have acceded to this demand - yet the only sources given in the report refer not to an "amnesty" - which awards permanent protection from prosecution, but to "immunity". Under the terms of the peace agreements signed to date, the judicial immunity granted to Burundi's killers has always been clearly stated as a strictly temporary measure, pending the creation of a Special Court and Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Reuters' conflation of these two very different things can only serve to embolden those within Burundi's political elite who are determined to rewrite history and ensure that the "provisional immunity" they were granted in 2003 is quietly redefined as a permanent amnesty, thereby forever denying victims their right to justice. From: http://africa.reuters.com/wire/news/usnL01782031.htmlBurundian rebels refused to rejoin a truce monitoring team which... | | By: Agathon Rwasa | | |
| | Reuters Great Big Border Whammy? | | 2008-03-26 23:13:38 | | TRUTH OR FICTION?Anti-immigration Nativists are holding a wake for the much heralded Border Fence in Cochise County. First, it would be nice if some of these Nativists would ACTUALLY VISIT Cochise County and spent a little time there talking to someone other than the inmates at the OK Café, or the few anti-immigration neo-fascists who actually reside in Cochise County. Case in point is the mourning for the Border Fence, that a Cochise County rancher has pronounced DOA. It is tragic. So sad. But – the problem is John Ladd, rancher is question, is one of the very few ...... | | By: The Pink Flamingo | | |
| | News: reuters say music fans prefer wikipedia to myspace | | 2008-03-22 12:06:40 | | News:
22-03-2008:
According to Reuters music fans prefer Wikipedia to MySpace. Data provided to Billboard from Yahoo, the second-most popular search engine on the Web after Google, those searching for artist information are selecting the Wikipedia entry link over artists' MySpace pages by a factor of more than 2-to-1. The Wikipedia entries are also more popular than artists' Web sites. Yet when...

| | Reuters Slideshow of Homeless People | | 2007-11-29 09:47:00 | | To me, these photographs really feel like a swift kick in the chest. I know they're a little dated, but doesn't it amaze you how strong, resilient and adaptive children are? I'm dying to know the stories behind these people's circumstances. There are a million ways to become poor. What was their path? If these photos don't choke you up or make your eyes misty, then check yourself for a pulse.. or have children- you probably don't have any. Or picture your young niece or nephew nuzzling the neck of their penniless mother or father. That's all kids need. Loving parents to cling to, caring parents to protect them. When my son Reis and I share a bed together, he falls asleep with his arm around my neck as if the world would end if I left his side. Here's the whole slideshow A homeless Indian woman holds her son inside her makeshift house under a bridge in New Delhi, India, July 30, 2005. | | Thomson Buys Reuters:eNidhi is little sad, little happy | | 2007-05-16 19:01:00 | | Glancing over Business Standard newspaper today in my office Canteen, I saw the news in cover page that Thomson Corporation will be buying Reuters for US $ 17.2 Billion.[Derailed news here and here] This might be just another business news for most of the people but to me, this is something partially heart breaking/ partially delighting.I love journalism to the core of my heart and I like Reuters founder Paul Julius De Reuter very much for his innovations in news media. Paul Julius Reuters [Full details here and here] was probably the first in modern history to sell news for money. He identified the value of having right information and right time, devised mechanisms to collect and distribute news at a time when news used to be hand delivered by messenger boys (and used to take days to travel across from one place to another) and eventually founded Reuters news agency. Julius Reuter, also known as Israel Beer Jeseph Josaphat, struggled in his early days to make people realize the impo... | | By: eNidhi - A professional amateur | | |
