| | I am Now a Productive Blogger at ReviewMe | | 2007-12-20 03:57:58 | | Fantastic! Two of my blogs, money at the mouth & internet executive log got approved by ReviewMe blogging marketplace. Although what worries me is that I saw a notice mentioning that ReviewMe takes 50% of bloggers earnings. I just took 2 offers worth $7.5 & $5 respectively.*Minus the 50%, sheesh..:O *I might be paid in peanuts for 200 word blog posts. No worries. I am not sure about the situation yet. I shall look at how much I receive payments for the two posts first then decide which priced offers I should take in the future. I am now a productive blogger at the ReviewMe blogging marketplace. | | By: internet executive log | | |
| | ReviewMe Pays | | 2007-07-23 14:46:16 | | This is the latest snapshot I had just taken from ReviewMe, my father’s account. As you can compared this with my previous snapshot which I had taken some time ago at this post: Earn From ReviewMe, they had finally paid $70 to me. In addition, they had settled all payment arrears to me at my own account and my mother’s account. I had received the full payment for all the account now and I have restored all links to the various posts being affected as shown in my post Earned From ReviewMe. I am glad that they had finally paid and my mother was relieved to hear that too. To all the advertisers affected, I had restored all the links now and I want to thank ReviewMe for making the payments to me. | | ReviewMe:No Emails Ever Replied | | 2007-07-16 15:09:26 | | I had just spoken to my mother. My mother had just came back from Genting. She had gone to work today. When I had told her about ReviewMe, she told me to write to them again. She said that they should give us back the payment. I had received emails from support@Reviewme from Patrick Gavin, President of ReviewMe on 12th July 2007, informing about their new Advertorial product. I was not replying to him on that day because I doubt they will reply me nor pay me. However after spoken to my mum, I sent Patrick Gavin an email again — since he can send me an email from the same email which I had received and the same email which they had provided, he should be able to send me replies. But until now no emails was replied to me BEFORE. I had only received email replies from Bill Fish. The same email which was sent to my mother’s account, show that Patrick Gavin is also the President of Text-Link Ads. No replies also to my mother’s account. That is very irresponsible. | | Doshy Link Attack! Blog Marketing, Meta-blogging and ReviewMe Advertorials | | 2007-07-15 21:50:51 | | Copyright © Dosh Dosh (http://www.doshdosh.com) Collis from NorthXEast writes about how your choice of a blog niche affects your blog’s growth in the long run. He suggests that distinguishing your blog from others within a competitive niche is important for success.
I have been thinking of this for some time and I’ll just like to add that there’s some sort of a traffic ceiling for every niche you choose.
For example, the ceiling for Dosh Dosh’s niche is much lower than the celebrity or tech niche, which will always have a much large potential audience.
The search volume for keywords will easily verify that. Be aware of your niche’s traffic ceiling before you begin as it will keep your blog’s growth in perspective.
Perhaps the most important blogging decision you can ever make is in choosing what to blog about. Your niche or topic area plays a huge role in defining everything that comes after, including how successful your blog is. Unfortunately it | | By: Dosh Dosh
| | ReviewMe - Nwe Advertorials Launched | | 2007-07-14 18:51:00 | | ReviewMe the leading paid review site which is owned by Text Link Ads has launched a new service to add yet another way for your blog to make money online. It’s easy money since the advertorial is written by the advertiser and all you have to do is post it in your blog and get paid for it.How It Works1. Advertisers select the blogs they want the advertorial to appear.2. Advertisers write up to 250 words including links and include 1 image.3. If selected, Publishers can accept or reject the advertorial.4. All advertorials are automatically marked as “Sponsor Post”Some Concerns About AdvertorialsThe whole program sounds very attractive in terms of having another means of monetizing your blog since there is almost no work to be done on the part of the blogger. It’s just a copy and paste job. Who doesn’t want money for nothing? There are concerns.Since Google frowns on duplicate content, how damaging would the effect of having the same post on say, 100 sites be? Also, some blogge | | By: work at your home | | |
| | ReviewMe Payment Issues | | 2007-07-14 15:00:11 | | Despite all the emails sent, I did not receive any payment 0f at $70 for all the one month effort put in to write the post ads. I had received replies from Bill Fish, and I had receive ReviewMe Support Email, from Patrick Gavin (President of ReviewMe), telling me about their new Advertorial Program BUT NO WORDS were mentioned about PAYMENT to my father’s account. I had sent out the emails earlier on last week and last month. Till now, no replies was ever sent! Roy is missing. Never reply and no answer. Who is in charge of payment?
I had login to the account to see any message but never too. It is a great disappointment and I am not interested in any of their new program at all, unless I get the $70 sent to me. $70 is what I can earn with my Google Adsense in a month or at times it takes me 2 months to earn $70 with Google Adsense! If at Helium, to earn $70, it takes you probably a year! I had joined Helium for probably a year or more now. I had not even earn $70!

| | ReviewMe Launches Advertorials | | 2007-07-12 04:38:10 | | ReviewMe launched a new service today called Advertorials. The new service allows advertisers to order blog posts like their current offerings with the difference being the advertiser writes the post. ReviewMe says that Advertorials are an “advertisement written in the form of an objective opinion editorial, and presented in a printed publication usually designed to look like a legitimate and independent news story.”
According to ReviewMe, some of the highlights of Advertorials are:
You can browse our marketplace of top blogs and choose the blogs to run your message which you remain in full control over.
Advertorials also feature full impression and click tracking so you can measure your return on investment.
Advertorials are a great way to generate buzz and traffic while controlling the message and measuring your results!

| | Update Of ReviewMe | | 2007-07-10 04:30:38 | | The day after I had posted my blog about ReviewMe Payments and removal of advertiser links to the affected blogs, I received an email reply from Text-link Ads Chief Financial Officer, Bill Fish. Check my blog at Money Kingdom, my pioneer blog about Money.
In my opinion, a blog is a communication tool, a useful one, because you can say as much, show as much with your writings and photographs or pictures. Message boards require you to click on so many threads and I don’t like that. Similarly for forum. A blog is arranged in chronological order. Information can be search within the blog or outside with the use of google search bar. This is very useful and efficient, where time is all money!
This is to show you the proof that all I am posting is true and I know it is bad to discuss the negative things in this world. But it is a fact. In shows, we see all the good things. In news, we hear what the news want you to hear, the good of business. People says the good in the business. How | | By: Moments That Inspire
| | Review Of ReviewMe | | 2007-07-04 15:08:27 | | This is not a sponsored post. This is a honest review of ReviewMe. There are so many paid to blog programs on the net now. For example, the famous ones being PayPerPost, and others such as Blogsvertise, Bloggerwave and ReviewMe.ReviewMe was started somewhere last year, and I signed up somewhere in April. I had a few account with ReviewMe — mine, my husband and my parents. For the first month, payment was given correctly, except for my Mother’s account. F or the month of June, payment which was made in July, payments made to all these accounts were wrong. My father’s account was even worst. For the Month of May, there were no payment being issued. I though that they would pay out the amount in the coming June, which they had claimed that whoever missed any payment will have to wait for the next month. However, this month, a total of at least $70 was not being paid to my father’s account. Last month, when there was error in my mother’s account, I had written | | By: Moments That Inspire | | |
| | Monetize Your Blog with ReviewMe | | 2007-07-04 12:37:00 | | Many of you have surely heard about blog advertising site PayPerPost. PayPerPost allows bloggers to make a few bucks by blogging about a product, service, or another website. The only problem (according to many) is that PayPerPost does not require the blogger to disclose the fact that the post was paid for. And they also require that the post be more or less positive in nature about the reviewed product or service. Needless to say, this opens the door for some questionable ethics.Comes into play the newcomer ReviewMe, a PayPerPost (PPP) kind of ad network, with a twist. The contract between the ad network and the blogger makes it mandatory to disclose the fact that you are blogging for money but certainly not this one because I am not paid to write this post. I find my blog too young to join ReviewMe.But that's not the only difference. Whereas a single fee per post is charged to advertiser for any bloggers, ReviewMe determines the set price by using an algorithm based on Alexa, Technorati and other statistics. The asked price varies, from 30$, up to an enticing 1,000$ per post, depending on your blog importance in the blogosphere. And there is more. The blogger can share his/her honest opinion and still being paid. Of course, I have some doubts personally about how this can really be implemented. It is obvious to me that ReviewMe is trying to give a non-partisan flavour to their ad network. This way, it gives it more credibility. However, looking at it from any angle, since we're being paid by a third-party to talk about them, we can't truly bite the hand the feeds us. Anyway, the fact that we have the illusion of that choice is still a nice feature. The only other requirement has to do with the review length and time limit to come up with a review, 200 words and 48 hours for this particular assignment. Payment can be made by check or by PayPal.Getting StartedSigning up is extremely easy, taking literally one or two minutes to fill out a small form. The price of a review on your blog is automatically determined by ReviewMe depending upon your blog's traffic, feed reader count, technorati rankings, etc. Bloggers can not change the price of the review set by ReviewMe.There are two drawbacks with ReviewMeFor every review you complete, ReviewMe takes away 50% of the amount to be paid as their share.Only advertisers gets to choose from the blogs they wish to get reviewed from. The blogger just waits and waits unless he is assigned a job.Once you've finished the task of writing you can submit the url to ReviewMe and if the post is according to advertiser's terms and conditions, it will be approved within 48 hours.PaymentsAll the amount you earn from ReviewMe is deposited in your Paypal account. | | By: Net Business Blogger | | |
| | ReviewMe and the ‘Paid Review’ Model | | 2007-06-08 19:37:42 | | Early last month ReviewME added Marketplace Listings in a way to compete with what PayPerPost has offered since it’s conception. | | PayPerPost Launches PayPerPost Direct - a “Direct” ReviewMe Competitor | | 2007-05-25 01:58:32 | | It seems as though PayPerPost is going to take ReviewMe head on with PayPerPost Direct.
Bloggers can place “badges” on their blog listing the price for a review on that blog. The blog post from PayPerPost contains an information video - which seems like a kiddy cartoon. Aside from that, there is a cool feature which ReviewMe doesn’t currently offer. That is the ability for advertisers and bloggers to negotiate terms (tone, price, etc).
We’ll see if it takes off. However, I wish PayPerPost would have brought something a little more unique to the table. It’s interesting that PayPerPost’s ReviewMe competitor launches less than a month after ReviewMe launched their PayPerPost competitor.

| | ReviewMe to Make Money Online from Your Blog | | 2007-05-05 10:12:00 | | ReviewMe as a Way to Make Money from Your BlogReviewMe is a great way to make money online from your blog if it is a high-traffic blog. Blogs like JohnChow.com are getting a lot of money off of ReviewMe. Just look at the revenue he has generated in the month of April. By only looking at his ReviewMe income, he made $4,500.00 for April. It was $2,400 for March. From this pattern, it seems he can charge more and more for reviews as his blog becomes even more popular. Although, the number of people willing to fork out $400 for a review may be small or limited. There could be a shortage of people wanting reviews. If everyone wanting a review has already gotten one, the stream of income from ReviewMe will stop, right?I signed up with ReviewMe but was rejectedI signed up and I got rejected. They said my blog doesn't have enough traffic yet and to try again in a few months. I sort of already knew that my blog isn't very big yet so I wouldn't get any offers anyway. But I wanted to see what would happen.ReviewMe SystemLengthReviewMe reviews have to be at least 200 words and it has to be disclosed that it is a sponsored post. I'm not exactly sure how to disclose reviews as sponsored posts. Maybe "Sponsored Post:" right in the title will be enough?LanguageThe reviews don't have to be in English. All they ask of you is that you post the review in whatever language your blog is already using. For example: A German blog should have the review be written in German because that is what reviewers are expecting the language of the review to be in.Review CostEach review costs anywhere from $40 to $500. I said above that John Chow could charge more and more. It seems $500 is the limit.PaymentPayments are every month. On the 1st of every month, earnings are calculated and shown in the earnings section of your account and payments will be sent no later than the 4th. It is better than Google AdSense since you receive your check up to nearly 2 months from when you accumulate $100.---- | | By: My Experiences with Making Money Online | | |
| | ReviewMe Adds MarketPlace Listings | | 2007-05-02 14:53:12 | | Well it looks like ReviewMe is taking a page out of the PayPerPost book, and all I can say is that it’s about damn time. Most people are familiar with PayPerPost as being the first company that offers advertising opportunities in which publishers (Blog Owners) can be paid for simply making posts on relevant advertising campaigns. This is great for those blogs that aren’t popular (yet!) and need to get started in the reviewing game. Not only with this help you make money easier, but it looks better to other advertisers that you have Sponsored Reviews on your website already.
There was a very large different between PayPerPost and ReviewMe up until today and that is that on PayPerPost the Blogger’s were the one’s applying for available opportunities and on ReviewMe, the advertisers come to you! As of today ReviewMe now offers it’s Blogger’s more opportunities with it’s brand new marketplace where advertisers can post opportunities that Blogge | | By: Super Justin
| | ReviewMe | | 2007-04-12 05:01:00 | | As I promised earlier this week, I will review several sites where your paid rate is determined by your google page rank. Today, I will talk about ReviewMe.ReviewMe is a marketplace for advertisers to pay bloggers to review their products. It is similar to Blogvertise, but Blogvertise charges a flate rate. ReviewMe lets bloggers to set its own price, but it has an internal ranking system that rank your blog based on Google page ranks, technorati and Alexa's ranking. The highest paid review I have seen so far is ShoeMoney's review on HarpzOn.com, which ShoeMoney charges $2,500 for this review. However, according to Baron VC, ReviewMe has a cap rate of $750.ReviewMe's main competitor is PayPerPost, but unlike PayPerPost, in ReviewMe, the blogger must disclose the post is a paid review, and there is no requirement to write a positive review. ReviewMe is backed by TextLinkAds. (Correction: PayPerPost requires Blogger to disclose that they are being paid for the posts too. Please foll | | By: Making Money on the Web | | |
