| | Meet the Robinsons | | 2007-04-16 06:53:53 | | I didn't have the chance to catch this movie myself. However, I heard from my sister that she was very inspired by the movie. She commented that the movie is great. I got her to tell me about the storyline though.Lewis is an orphan who is also a great inventor. He hopes to meet his mother by creating a time-machine of his own to return to the past.His time machine would be displayed during the science fair. However, due to some evil doings by a round-hat boy, his time machine failed. He thought he had failed. However, he met a boy who came from the future instead.The boy brought Lewis into the future where he met up with the Robinsons family. For once, he felt love and care from family members. They encouraged him a lot, however they did not know that he was actually from the past. They wanted him to join their family, but after knowing that he was actually from the past, they made him return to the past.Lewis felt rejection once again and he was deeply depressed. Later he realised that the future Robinsons family which he met up with was actually his future! The round-hat boy was actually his room-mate from the future!Lewis had previously caused his room-mate to lost his important game match. Hence, his room-mate came to destroy his future.Back in the past, his credit for the time machine invention was going to be taken away. If this happens, the future of his Robinsons empire would not be there. He had to go back to the past to prevent all these from happening.Will he be able to succeed?Skip from here if you do not wish to know the ending.Lewis managed to go back to the past and fix all things back. He managed to claim the credit for the invention of his time machine as well as changed his room-mate's future. He would also be able to meet up with his future family in the years to come.This movie review is rather brief as I did not watch the movie myself.
