Las citas básicas del calendario Heavy-rock de nuestro país se "unen" para dar lugar a un festival de dos días. El viernes 11 de julio, Deep Purple serán los legendarios cabeza de cartel de la nueva edición Monsters of Rock, mientras que el sábado 12, la tarea para Metalway Festival correrá a cargo de Iron Maiden. Junto a estas dos grandes bandas, otras trece formaciones confirmadas hasta el momento, serán parte de este acontecimiento, que se celebrará en la Feria de Zaragoza.
En el Monsters of Rock 2008 los británicos Deep Purple serán cabeza de un cartel que incluye a otras bandas como Twisted Sister, Ted Nugent, Saxon, Thin Lizzy, Pretty Maids, Candlemass o Rage.
El Metalway Festival 2008 tiene como cabeza de cartel a los lengendarios Iron Maiden, actuación que se engloba dentro de su "Somewhere back in Time World Tour 08". Junto a ellos, otras formaciones emblemáticas, como Slayer, Iced Earth, Avantasia o los españoles Barón Rojo.

The Hives, Amaral y Els Pets, son los primeros artistas confirmados del cartel del Senglar Rock 2008, que se celebrará en el Parc de les Basses de Lleida los próximos días 3, 4 y 5 de julio.
La banda sueca The Hives son uno de los cabezas de cartel del festival. La formación se encuentra en plena gira mundial de presentación de su cuarto disco, "The Black & White Album".
Amaral presentará en el Senglar Rock 2008 su nuevo disco, que saldrá a la venta en mayo.
Els Pets serán los principales representantes de la escena catalana del Senglar Rock 2008, y su actuación coincide con la gira "Els Pets fan un bon dia". En esta gira commemoran los 11 años del "Bon dia", el disco más vendido de la historia del rock en catalán.
Hasta el próximo 30 de abril los abonos para los tres días están a la venta al precio especial de 40€ más gastos de distribución. Venta a través de Servicaixa (www.servicaixa.com) y en la web oficial del festival.

Aunque no lo crean (para los que no pudieron ir) Mollo, Fernando Ruiz Diaz, Walas y Luca que por alguna razón se hizo presente, ya que tocaron Next Week, osea una mezcla extraña de Divididos, Catupecu Machu, Massacre y SUMO. Muy raro, pero buenísimo, al menos así lo vimos y "vivimos" nosotros. Fer agitó a todo el monumental pidiendo pogo, Mollo la rompió como siempre y Walas, un maestro, le pusó toda la mejor onda y mostró por qué es uno de los referentes de la música Argentina. Quizás este haya sido uno de los mejores temas que se tocaron en todo el Quilmes Rock 08.Al final Mollo hizo un par de comentarios, después de presentar su nuevo tema.
