    2008-07-07 23:30:25
With power comes greed. Some people just don't learn. Sigh, I'm surprised he didn't end up behind bars. I was "chatting" with a friend of a friend and came to learn that the whom-we-cannot-speak-of has been stripped of his title and kicked of the company! Woohoo! After all the hoohaa they finally made the right choice. After more then a year of "doing what he does", I'm quite curious exactly how much he swindled off the company. Continue reading......

    2008-03-18 02:25:00

The share rose by 76% between 22 October and 1 November when it touched a high of Rs295 in intra-day trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), and fell by 18% between 5 November and 6 November after the National Stock Exchange (NSE) barred derivatives traders from taking fresh positions in RPL futures.A senior official of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), who did not wish to be named, confirmed that the capital market regulator has called for trading data from stock exchanges and is “looking into the matter”. “I can’t share with you any information at this point as this is confidential,” the official added. He said Sebi routinely looks into stocks that show unusual movements. It is the stock market regulator’s job to investigate sharp and sudden movement in share prices, but such investigations, by themselves, do not imply any wrong...

    2008-02-12 14:11:27
Rumour: Netflix coming to PS3?Filed under: NewsWe've already reported on Netflix's decision to go Blu-Ray exclusive but the service could also be coming to the PS3 in a completely different form entirely. If Seanbajuice is to be believed then we could be seeing a streaming movie service from Netflix for the PS3 before the end of the year. The blogger claims that he received a survey from Netflix asking about whether anyone in his household would use a downloadable movie rental service available through his PS3. The survey goes on to detail the service, saying "Now you can watch movies from Netflix instantly by using your Internet-connected Playstation 3. Simply insert a special Netflix disc into your PS/3 to enable instant movie streaming. The disc is available from Netflix for a one-time fee of $3." Apart from the $3 disc, this service would be essentially free, as long as you have a paid Netflix account. We would love to see a service like this, but considering that this is th...
