Emerging reports suggest that the General's luxury division may launch a four-cylinder model for the American market by 2011.The new model would be positioned below the CTS and possibly include a turbocharger, as well as the potential for an optional V6. Cadillac already has a small four-cylinder model for sale in Europe, the BLS, which is based on sister company Saab's 9-3. But the BLS hasn't taken Europe by storm and Cadillac is still reportedly contemplating whether to port over the same name for the American model. While the successor to the Northstar V8 was canceled, and with a replacement for the STS and DTS reportedly on hold, Cadillac's general manager Jim Taylor wonders if Americans are ready for the idea of a four-cylinder Caddy. Audi's all-new A4 Avant made its world debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show, but the cargo mover made a rather quiet North American debut at last week's New York Auto Show. Along with that debut, Audi released some information on the U.S.-bound A4 — including the sedan and the wagon. The biggest news is that Audi will only offer a four-cylinder engine in the A4 Avant. That engine will be Audi's tried and true 2.0L turbocharged TFSI unit, tuned to produce 211 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque — up from the current model's 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. Despite being down a few cylinders, the A4 Avant is said to be able to make the sprint from 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. The G37 Sedan and EX35 have the same engine as the popular G37 Coupe sold here in North America. The difference is the motor has been detuned from 330 horsepower to 306. Both models look great with their individual design characteristics that distinguish each other. The Coupe sticks to the Accord Coupe Concept, unveiled at the Detroit Autoshow this year. However, in our opinion, the production version looks more sophiscated and elegant. Both the Coupe and Sedan snapped here are the EX-V6 trims, which are the range-toppers in its line-up.
According to Jalopnik and previous speculations, the Accord will be available with two powertrain options. The 4-cylinder 2.4L is expected to pump 180HP, while the V6 model will churn 270HP. That’s equivalent to the Altima V6 and 2 more horsepowers than the Camry V6.

Larry Blunk was able to take some quality pictures of the M3 Sedan running its course at the Ring and was able to taker detailed close-up shots of the mule when it was parked just outside momentarily.
From these shots, we can tell the M3 Sedan will get the same body treatments as its 2-door variant. We can guess that the M3 Sedan will debut in Frankfurt this September with sales proceeding sometime next year. The M3 Sedan will go head-to-head with the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, which will also debut in Frankfurt. Follow the link to see more of the shots Larry was able to get.
