Until we have major government officials echo what Dennis Kucinich has to say, this world will never, EVER take notice and put a stop to all of this crazy, unnecessary violence.

Allowing the easy acquisition and possession of military-style weapons like this is foolhardy and the results are tragic. “We need to find out how and where the killer got this gun and this ammunition. Recognize the photo that you see here above? it's called a metal detector. That's spelled m-e-t-a-l d-e-t-e-c-t-o-r.
That's right. This is just like the one that had been already installed in Success Tech Academy that wasn't being used there too often.
Not only should you be passing a law that makes it mandatory for every single school to install these detectors at every entrance/exit, but once they ARE installed there, they should be utilized daily.
What are you waiting for? Yet another school shooting? Or are the funds for these detectors already being used for the war in Iraq?

And we couldn't find a pub or a cafe that would be open. All of them close at midnight. This was a surprise because Prague is still full of tourist even at this time. But for the good of local residents, they all have to close that soon.Finally we found *one* cafe at Parizska street (the most expensive street in Prague) where we could stay for a moment. After 30 minutes of searching. So be aware of that and do all your "cafe duties" before midnight. Maybe I was just slow in receiving the news today, but I didn’t find out about this until 3-ish. All I could think when I was reading it was this probably isn’t my teachers mean when they say we’re watching history in the making. What’s more chilling is that I have no doubt that someone’s going to break this record because this is how things work; even if we don’t want it.
To a very superficial level, I can sort of understand the feeling that you have to lash out at everyone–anyone– because of all the rage and hurt that’s been bottled up. You want to hurt someone and anyone will do and since you’re going to kill yourself, you might as well inflict harm to as many people as possible, right?

The air was as clear as a crisp winter night can be, so I headed out of town with a friend, we mounted our tripods in the countryside and spent a couple hours shooting at the moon with our cameras.
Thanks to my long zoom, I could fill a decent portion of the frame with the moon and got some nice shots. Unfortunately, as the umbra of the Earth started covering more and more of the Moon, which was getting more and more dark and reddish in color, two factors contributed to make the pictures of the totality phase less then appealing.
The first problem is that my camera is very bad when it comes to focusing in low light conditions. Fortunately, I had manual focus on and set it when the moon was still bright enough, so I could have still saved most of them, but in the dark I didn’t realize that humidity was condensing on the lens as the night grew colder.
