It's been reported that the Avs have given qualifying offers to the 4 RFAs on the roster (Svatos, McCormick, McLeod, Wolski), although terms were not announced. If the link I found (and then lost) on RFA rules is correct, McCormick and McLeod had to have been offered 110% of their salary from last year, Wolski needed to be offered 105% and Svatos needed to be offered 100%. That means $522K for McCormick, $524K for McLeod, $990 for Wolski and $1.2M for Svatos. Add those salaries to Parker's $500,000 contract as well as the players already under contract and the Avalanche have $33.2 million committed to 19 players.

It seems Bradshaw is spending 30 days in the slammer to atone for past sins, not a new offense.
The underlying charge in this matter stems from an offense which occurred while Mr. Bradshaw was a juvenile," his attorney, Charles A. Stacy, said in a statement.
If this is indeed something from Bradshaw's past he still needed to clean up and not a new transgression that is definitely good news.

As my partner said at the sight of this, aren’t 80% of Amman’s homes within walking distance to at least one mosque? So why do the streets become a maze of cars parked in the middle of the streets during the Friday prayer?
I think it is very dangerous, especially as almost every single car parked in any of the buildings within a mile from any mosque gets locked in by another car parked outside. What if an emergency happens to a child living in one of the buildings, and her parents cant get her out because a car is closing their drive way? They may call an ambulance I suppose, but I highly doubt it will fit into the tiny lane left by cars triple parked on both sides of the streets, and if it does, it will have to drive very slowly.
