Stration zahlreiche Nutzer der VoIP-Software Skype infiziert hat, macht er nun in einer neueren Version wieder die Runde. Hat der Trojaner sich erstmal im System eingenistet, versucht die Schadensroutine alle Freunde in der Kontaktliste ebenfalls zu infizieren. Dazu wird eine Textnachricht mit einem Link verschickt, welchen man öffnen soll und eine Datei herunterladen soll.Befolgt man diese Anweisungen, installiert sich der Trojaner auf dem heimischen Rechner und läd weitere kleine Anwendungen aus dem Internet herunter. Mit diesen kann der Angreifer die Kontrolle über den Computer übernehmen und beispielsweise Spam-Nachrichten verschicken.Mittlerweile sollte es allen bekannten Antiviren-Programmen möglich sein, den Schädling zu erkennen und alarm zu schlagen.
