Actualmente integrada por Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, Jeff Schroeder, Ginger Reyes y Lisa Harriton. Tras disolverse el 2 de diciembre de 2000, la agrupación anunció el 20 de abril de 2006 a través de su sitio web oficial, una reunión y la grabación de un nuevo álbum. Dicha reunión finalmente se concretó el 22 de mayo de 2007 y meses después se lanzó el séptimo álbum de estudio titulado Zeitgeist.El álbum Zeitgeist ya ha publicado dos singles acompañados de videos musicales, tales son: "Tarantula" (lanzado el 21 de mayo 2007), y "That's the Way (My Love Is)". El video musical de la canción Superchrist (creada durante la sesión de Zeitgeist y no incluida como tema musical de este álbum) de The Smashing Pumpkins fue dirigido por Justin Coloma y lanzado este 27 de febrero a través de MySpace. The Smashing Pumpkins è un gruppo musicale originario di Chicago (Illinois, Stati Uniti), in attività dal 1988.
La band nasce dall’idea di Billy Corgan (voce e chitarra) e James Iha (chitarra), all’epoca due ragazzi appassionati principalmente di musica rock, hard rock, new-wave e psichedelica.

I first heard this song when I was 11, I fell in love with it immediately. Its one of those classics by Smashing Pumpkins, and one that I never get tired of. This song is timeless to me. It took me a while to find it again because this song is hardly available online.
I enjoy this song for its lyrics and melodies. It is a mellow song with a subtle boldness to it. It makes you want to stop what you are doing and just listen. Its a good track to drive to too. :D The lyrics are a little hard to understand, but you can get the idea that the song is about a relationship. Kind of a deep message.
