The Sopranos TV Series on DVD
    2008-03-17 16:36:18
The Sopranos is a TV drama series created by Emmy Award-winning scriptwriter, David Chase. It spanned six seasons (from January 10, 1999 to June 10, 2007) with a total of 86 episodes. The Sopranos revolves around Anthony "Tony" Soprano and his life as a leader of a Mafia group, and as a father and husband at the same time. Tony is in between two identities - being a criminal and a family man. It tells us a different story of criminals and their normal lives when not breaking the law.Critics descr...

Download And Watch The Sopranos Free
    2008-01-28 11:01:43
The sopranos is arguably the greatest television show of all time. It has lasted six seasons before finally deciding there would be no more filming anymore in 2008. A lot of the cast seem pretty upset over it but happy with the success the show has actually had. It is to me the greatest mobster [...]...

    Hillary and The Sopranos
    2007-06-27 17:17:00
I though that Hillary Clinton’s Sopranos Spoof was very clever and would prove very effective in humanizing her. Liberal pundit Margret Carlson had a different take however :“The Carmela-Hillary juxtaposition has been made before by others, and not in Hillary's favor. For staying with a repeat philanderer, Carmela got to live in a McMansion, wear expensive jewelry and wield derivative power as Queen Bee of the mob families. Hillary got to be first lady with a good shot at the White House”Carlson goes on:“The biggest problem with playing the Sopranos is that no matter how much viewers found Tony a sympathetic character or felt sorry for Carmela for being married to a murdering sociopath, they don't want either in the White House. The person who had the bright idea to make the ad should get a promotion, but the person who approved it should be fired, unless it's the candidate herself.Unlike the Sopranos, in the saga of the Clintons, there will be a final accounting before the ...

Daily Hotness Award for Wednesay, June 20, 2007: Hilary Clinton and her Sopranos Spoof
    2007-06-25 17:30:11
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfkRjvAYuOcI saw this yesterday and it made my day. I liked it so much I am giving Hil and Bill the Daily Hotness Award which as you might already know is an imaginary non-existent award I like to pretend actually exists. I thought this was seriously the hotness. Of course, I am a Sopranos fan and a liberal democrat. How could I not? For reals, though...for some reason a politician with a healthy sense of humor appeals to me. ...

    Ad Wars: Clinton Spoofs Sopranos
    2007-06-20 18:28:00
As we noted yesterday, Hillary Clinton announced the winner of her campaign theme song contest, settling on Celine Dion's "You And I." The method in which she announced, however, was one of the most creative web videos thus far in the 2008 cycle. In a spoof of the final Sopranos scenes, including a cameo from former cast member Johnny Sack played by Vince Curatola, Clinton teases viewers about her song choice. The video does a great job of showing a lighter side of the woman who often seems inaccessible.Newt Gingrich has released an ad opposing the immigration reform deal reached in Congress. ABC News, however, disputes some of the claims Gingrich makes in the ad.Mitt Romney is airing a new ad that stresses fiscal responsibility.Romney also has an interesting video on his site for Father's Day that shows his relationship with his family and how they decided together to move forward with his presidential bid.Barack Obama also has a video up for Father's Day discussing his family.John...

    Funny: Sopranos Alternate Ending
    2007-06-20 16:14:24
Apparently, the director filmed several different endings to the Sopranos in order to keep everyone, even the cast, from knowing what the true ending was. This is one of the alternates, and it is better than the original in my opinion: Funny, Video, Videos...

Life Imitates Art for Sopranos Hottie
    2007-06-17 00:37:11
It appears that life imitates art, at least for Robert Iler. You'll know him best as AJ Soprano, the rebellious offspring of fictional New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano on the HBO series. An illegal poker house frequently attended by Iler in addition to other notable names including several well-known basketball players was robbed on Friday. The robbers apparently burst onto the scene wielding guns and demanded cash from everyone inside the club. The robbery went down around midnight and it's estimated the robbers escaped with tens of thousands of dollars. The culprits are still at large, although police have slapped the owner of the illegal club with multiple charges. This is not the first time Iler has been in trouble. In 2002, the actor was arrested for mugging two youths and stealing 45 dollars. As a juvenile offender, he was given youthful offender status and three years probation.  Talk about your method actors......

    The Sopranos Finale
    2007-06-12 01:00:22
So, how many out there were upset or mad at the ending of the Sapranos???? I was a little at first, but I think it was Chase's way of just letting the audience think in their own mind what happened... [[ This is a content summary only. Sopranos Swan Song
    2007-06-11 15:51:00
Who else thought their cable went out last night?I may be in the minority, but I'm satisfied with the way The Sopranos ended. Its probably the only way that I'd have been satisfied.Imagine how depressing it would have been if the whole family was shot down in that diner as the final scene. You say you want a bloodbath, but you really didn't want that. What if the final scene was Tony waking up, going outside, and picking up the newspaper. Only this time, he's picking up the El Paso Times and waving hello when his neighbor asks, "How ya doin' Gary?" Eh, cheesy.Or worse yet, what if they used the most tired season finale device ever--it was all a dream. There was no way to make everyone happy with an ending. I think the only way for them not to disappoint is for them not to have ended it. I like how the characters live on. We met them in the middle of their lives and we leave them in the middle of their lives.I didn't hate it....

    The Sopranos Finale?
    2007-06-11 07:23:00
Sunday was the much-anticipated finale of the HBO series, "The Sopranos." It was on HBO since 1999, and it became one of my favorite shows. If any of you have not seen the finale yet and will be seeing it soon, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU SKIP THIS POST.It all came to an end tonight. I watched the show at midnight, as I was out playing softball tonight and didn't get home until 10 PM. When the show ended, I immediately ran for my computer to gauge the reaction to the finale. If creator David Chase was looking for a memorable, controversial ending, he found it.I didn't like the ending at all. And I'm not alone in thinking that either.I won't go into every plot line, but Phil Leotardo gets whacked in this episode, so it looks like the situation has settled for Tony. But he's about to be prosecuted the feds, as one of his guys, Carlo, has turned on him. The final scenes have Tony meeting his family at a local diner, but Meadow is running late. They focus on a number of people in the diner, a...

A Quick Word About "The Sopranos"
    2007-06-11 06:38:00
It seems a number of people are complaining that David Chase’s final 60 seconds were a copout. “The Sopranos” was great because it rarely followed typical conventions and this final episode was no different. Real life doesn’t have tidy endings and neither should the Sopranos. Throughout its seven seasons, the first family of North Jersey always tried to be normal (despite a life of crime) and nothing is more normal in America then a diner and a giant order of onion rings. David Chase could never write a finale episode that could possibly meet the hype. Nevertheless, in writing an episode so typically Sopranos, Chase delivered the perfect ending. He concluded the greatest American drama in the only way it deserves: without ending it at all....

This New Jerseyan is Glad for the Sopranos
    2007-06-11 05:11:23
With the Sopranos season and series finale behind us (even though it is literally only momentarily behind us), I just want to say very quickly that this is one New Jerseyan who is GLAD to have had the Sopranos be a major part of our state’s most recent history. The Sopranos Series Finale Review
    2007-06-11 04:42:07
We’ll get to the odd ending scene of the series in a minute, but let’s first review the major points in the episode. The big drama that built up over the last week was whether or not Tony Soprano got whacked. Well, we don’t know the answer to that for sure, but I’m [...]...

WTF? Was the ending of the Sopranos a Mistake?
    2007-06-11 04:18:01
I’ll come back in a little bit to write about how I was pleased with the end of The Sopranos - that filthy dirtbag Phil got what he deserved. But was the end of the show a mistake? Did you all see what we saw? Meadow had trouble parking her car, then as she [...]...

The Final Episode of the Sopranos - Some Ideas
    2007-06-10 11:18:44
With Bobby and Sil all but dead and Tony holed up in a safe house, what can we expect for the Soprano crime family going into tonight’s series-ending finale? Well, the one thing we know about The Sopranos is that nothing is certain, but here are some of the best theories that I’ve heard [...]...

A Good Episode of the Sopranos
    2007-06-04 06:17:13
For a show that is coming into its final episode next week, The Sopranos certainly seems like it’s in mid-season form right now. With the war between the New York and New Jersey families kicking into high gear, it’s hard to imagine that there are only 50 minutes or so of television time left [...]...

    The Sopranos
    2007-04-08 18:10:00
The Sopranos returns tonight for its final nine episodes and I'm excited. Joey G's confusion of thinking the Radio Happy Hour was a "no-show job" notwithstanding, I will be glued to my HBO at nine o'clock tonight. But why? Has the show been good since 2002?Every season there are a handful of great episodes, usually involving someone getting whacked. But to get to those, we must sit through several "throw away" episodes in which nothing happens to move the story line along. We endure episode long dream sequences, trips to Paris and other random subplots that just produce more questions rather than tie up loose ends.Sometimes I feel that I anticipate each season because of all the hype. Have they become better at marketing than they are at making quality TV?But as much as I complain about meandering story lines and wasted episodes at the water cooler on Monday mornings, I crave a new episode. Its like the girl that teases you and frustratingly strings you along but still you w...
