We've consolidated subscriber stats from most of the far corners of the feed subscription universe (yes, we are going on record and saying the universe has corners and is a simple geometric shape - we are not yet committing to whether it's 3D/4D/5D, but we are saying it has corners), in order to give you the most complete picture of your audience. There are thousands of feed-reading services with even more services jumping into the distributed media hottub every day (yes, we are going on record as saying it's a hottub, not an ecosystem), so checking your detailed subscriber analytics page within FeedBurner is always a good place to find out where there are new services that are incorporated into your statistics.
Please pay special attention to the information that may be revealed in the new Google Reader subscriber stats as it may point out instances where you have inadvertently fragmented your audience by offering more than one flavor of your feed to the public. No worries, as this is easily remedied. Again, you can redirect any outliers to your FeedBurner feed and instructions for Blogger, TypePad and Wordpress are available.

About 2 months and a half ago I've created the first 4 or 5 posts that started this blog, on 5th of august 2007. And now, I reached the post number 101..it wasn't easy, but I got here. If I'll keep updating my blog on a daily basis, I'll get to 202 posts in the next 2 and a half months. When I first started this blog, I wasn't getting any significant traffic. But now, I get up to 30 visitors per day. It is not too much, but this situation will change over the following months, when the blog will grow. Currently, the main source of traffic for my blog is LinkReferral. This website sent over 200 visitors so far this month to me. The other sources of traffic are the search engines ( especially Google ) and other sites to which I've linked up to. I'm also promoting my blog via social bookmarking websites, free links directories and other free traffic sources, which are not restricted by the Terms of Service from Google or any other of the money making opportunities I promote. I haven't earned too much money until now, with this blog..only a couple of dollars. But I wasn't expecting to get rich fast, without putting some work in creating and promoting my blog. It is not for sale at this price, or any price at all :) This sum represents the blog's current value, not the price of sale. The stats that I've talked about are not significant for many bloggers, because I'm sure that their blogs are better than mine, but they must agree that they were where I am now :) For me to get better stats, more visitors and to make some more money, I'll have to put in more work, to post more articles and to promote the blog continuously. | Monthly update on my Agloco stats | | 2007-08-31 03:40:00 | | It has become my habit to log and post my Agloco network statistics at the end of each month. This time, however, I don't have a screenshot, because I didn't manage to make one before Agloco stats moved to the next month :-) I have calculated my earnings for the month, though - and they are lower than usual. Apparently, I only made 46 new referrals and earned 70 hours from my downline.I see several reasons for this, most obvious one being that I was away for most of July and August, not marketing actively, and updating my sites only occasionally. (A slight offtopic here - it would have helped me a lot if it would be possible to schedule a future post here in Blogger, like Wordpress can do). This does not, however, explain declining hours. Other reasons might be August being a 'slow' month, or some members getting discouraged with Agloco since it's not clear when it will make payouts. Or maybe it's none of these, and happening only to my network?I'm not worried by this, however. I am worried a bit about Agloco being slow to update and improve, but I knew it would be a long-term project when I joined it. (Speaking of updates, don't forget to add your adress in your Agloco profile to get your check, whenever they mail it). During September, I will get back to my usual posting routine, and continue my work with Agloco. I also want to catch up on all link exchange requests. You guys must have noticed that a few days back I changed Sizzled Core’s theme from iTheme to Envision. But since that day, my Wordpress.com Stats plugin was not working. The stats were not updating and it continued that way for 3 days. Then I mailed at Wordpress.com support and from there I came to know about the fix.
The problem in my case was that Envision did not have <?php wp_footer(); ?> in its footer.php
Many themes don’t have this. So it’s better to put <?php wp_footer(); ?> in your theme’s footer.php to avoid any problems later on. If ever you get stuck in such problem all you need to do is just copy the above given code and paste it anywhere in your footer.php. This will fix the problem and the plugin will continue collecting your blog’s data without any loss.
