| Tanner Foust sheds light on Top Gear USA in blog interview | | 2008-07-02 17:09:00 | | With all our mouths salivating over the upcoming NBC version of the hit BBC program Top Gear, the guys over at Autofiends got a chance to sit down with Tanner Foust. As we revealed a couple of weeks ago, in addition to being a drifting and rallying champion, Tanner will be one of the three hosts – alongside Adam Carolla and Eric Stromer – who will be anchoring the Americanized show. The interview makes for an interesting read, and in the process Foust casts a bit more light on what we can expect from the show. For example, while the BBC's publicly-funded format allows for full-hour shows, the NBC program will run closer to 42 minutes with commercials breaking up the shorter segments. The show's test track – en route to which Foust got lost with Jeremy Clarkson in a Callaway Corvette – is based in Orange County, California. And to the best of his understanding, Foust and his co-hosts will be free to speak their minds about the vehicles they'll be reviewing, which he promises wil | | By: Car News | | |

| A Message From Evan Tanner! - 10 Nov 2007 03:00:02am | | 2007-11-09 21:00:02 | |
If whoever took my stuff reads this:
I'm really disappointed. I had some things stolen out of my Land Cruiser last night while it was parked in front of the gym. The UFC had just given me a brand new workout bag full of shirts and beanies, with a personalized engraved name tag. They took that. What I'm most upset about though, is that they took all of my mma trading cards that I sign for the fans and the kids. Come on now, that's really uncool. It was all in a storage container in the back of the Cruiser. I'm not sure what else was in it. If whoever did this happens to read this, be cool, at least give my trading cards back. I need those for the fans. It would also be nice to have the name tag back. My car will be in the same place as it was last night. You can just drive by and throw the cards in the back. No questions asked. It would be nice to have everything returned, but at least give the cards back.

| | The Return Of Evan Tanner!! - 09 Nov 2007 06:43:36pm | | 2007-11-09 12:43:36 | |
By Ken Pishna
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight titleholder Evan Tanner on Thursday announced via his myspace page that he has signed a four-fight contract with the UFC. Independent sources have confirmed the signing.
At this time, no return date or opponent has been named.
Tanner last fought for the UFC, or anywhere else for that matter, more than one-and-a-half years ago when he defeated Justin Levens by triangle choke at UFC 59.
He won the middleweight championship at UFC 51, defeating David Terrell by TKO. His reign didn’t last long though, as he lost the belt to Rich Franklin four months later.
The 36-year-old fighter out of Amarillo, Texas has long been considered a nomad, never staying with one fight camp for very long. Tanner has spent time training with teams such as Team Quest and Chute Boxe USA, but is currently training at Hard Knocks Muay Thai in Las Vegas.
