Rappelons que la dernière révision générale des tarifs remonte à l'automne 2005.La Commission explique sa décision par l'augmentation des coûts d'exploitation d'un taxi depuis 2005. A eux seuls, les coûts reliés au carburant et aux salaires font augmenter les tarifs de 6,9 %, le solde de 2,7 % provient des autres coûts d'exploitation. STATE COLLEGE — Penn State tight end Andrew Quarless was charged Thursday with DUI after State College police say he was stopped early Sunday while driving with a blood alcohol level of .084 percent.
Quarless had been suspended from the team earlier this week for an unspecified violation of team rules.
Quarless, 19, of Uniondale, N.Y., was stopped at 2:54 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of East College Avenue and South Pugh Street when police said he ran a red light in a white BMW, according to the criminal complaint filed Thursday at the office of District Judge Jonathan Grine.
“Did I go through the red light?” police say Quarless asked the officer.
The complaint said the officer smelled a moderate odor of alcohol on Quarless and that the tight end failed field sobriety tests.
A blood test taken about a half hour later showed Quarless had a .084 BAC, the complaint states.

Taxi benefits greatly from its length--eighty-six minutes--and from Besson’s general understanding of how to amuse an audience. He does it to some success in his American films (a rather limited one, but he manages to create likable characters and not bore the viewer), but with Taxi, he does a lot better. The main selling point of the movie, besides the car chases--filmed from helicopter, they’re the antithesis of a Bourne Ultimatum chase, rather interested in creating something cool to see--is lead Samy Naceri. Naceri--a quick wikipedia search reveals--is a lot of trouble, which might explain why he’s never immigrated to Hollywood... because Naceri runs the movie all himself. He’s charismatic and engaging and it doesn’t hurt Besson’s script makes him not just the protagonist, but the character the others all look up to....
He’s like a French George Clooney in one of the Ocean’s movies.

ImagineAir, based in Lawrenceville, Ga., operates Cirrus SR22-GTS aircraft, which seat three passengers and cruise at more than 200 miles per hour. The Cirrus is also equipped with a parachute. ImagineAir will expand its fleet in 2008 to include Eclipse 500 very light jets, which seat five passengers and can fly 1,300 miles nonstop.
The Cirrus aircraft are used for short hops while the Eclipse jets can fly longer hauls, said ImagineAir spokesman Haroon Qureshi.
“We can get you up to Montreal or down to Belize,” Qureshi said. “People are catching the buzz about air taxis.”
