| Tick..tock..tick..tock.. | | 2008-04-23 22:05:02 | | Why is this week going so slow? It is taking forever!Time passes so slowly now. It's not like I don't have anything to do. I do, tons of things in fact; yet there's this feeling like something's missing somewhere.Weird. I complain that time passes slow when actually most of the time I find 24 hours a day is not enough. It's ironic though; when I want the time to stop so that I can savour the moment, it passes really fast and the next thing I know the fun times are over. When I want the time to pass by fast, it slows down. In fact, I think the clock has just gone dead.I keep thinking that everyday is Friday; because I keep on wishing that I don't have to go to work the next day.Work. It's such a drag. I think at some point I'm being taken for granted. Work has not been keeping me happy lately. Just a phase, and a challenge that I have to brave through I guess. And I will succeed. I turned the computer on and went to t... | | 2007-08-17 13:06:00 | | Tick, TockI turned the computer on and went to the other room to, um, do something useful - not at all like watching TV or anything like that, and a while later I went back to the computer and I couldn't get the screen saver to move. it just stood there not spinning at me. I tapped the keyboards a couple of times and moved the mouse around an gradually my ISP start page appeared. I didn't want to look. How many times did IE load? Take a guess, a wild guess, now keep in mind it wasn't nearly as bad as it has been in the past - and it's not a virus. I have Norton and I run a couple of different anti-spyware programs too.My old computer did this to me as well. I think it's just meanness. 24, I came in and there were twenty-four IE's unhappily running simultaneously. It doesn't always do this, but every third or fourth time, it goes nuts. It's also not always 24, some times its 6 or 53 once it was a whopping 70 something.I thought it was because it got bored waiting for me to do so | | By: Reading In The Dark | | |

Get my Raleigh/North Carolina photo album taken care of, but I think it may still have some tweaking to do because while I left in the St.Patricks Day parade and the roller derby girls, I left out the Christmas parade and I think people at home will want to see the “Making Jesus Famous Since 1978" float. I may have to have a second album, one with just family and house and pets and stuff. I didn’t include many shots of The Kitty and he’s the most photographed cat on the planet. Dogger was very well represented and I have a total of about six pictures of her since she came to live with me.The first of my two Ebay dresses finally arrived. I am so relived, I was thinking I was going to have to leave a second message for the seller asking where my dress was or go buy another dress, dress number three and that would have pissed me off.
