    Finky the Kid here... Hola Ladies and Gents! Your dutiful Sightseer is under the weather and is forbidden from being on-line today in hopes that she may recover by tomorrow. Thus I figure I'd swoop in to give you all a brief update on our most recent jaunt up to Los Angeles. This past weekend (April 28-29) was the annual Festival of Books at UCLA. The Festival of Books is put on each year by the LA Times and is a great place to network with publishers, authors, and even a few celebrities. And if you are a celebrity, it's a great place to hock your latest tome, self-help book, or children's book.     The L.A. Times annual Festival of Books will take place next weekend, April 27 & 28 at the UCLA campus. In it's twelfth year, this event is a lot of fun. Over 130,000 people and 400 authors attend. You can listen to panel discussions by your favorite authors, watch live stage shows featuring celebrities, and get your books signed. Some of the authors who will attend this year include: Dr. Phil McGraw, Mitch Albom, Julie Andrews, T.C. Boyle, David Baldacci, Mary Higgins Clark, Lee Iacocca, Frank McCourt, Barry Siegel, Gore Vidal, Michael Tolkin, Henry Winkler, and many more!The best part is that it's completely free!
