Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid
    2008-08-02 11:46:00
    2. 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid (54,492 sales)Base Price: $25,860City: 33 mpgHighway: 34 mpgCombined: 34 mpgOffering a version of the perennially bestselling Camry that produces better fuel economy is as slam-dunk a business case as they come.Toyota noted Honda’s folly with the expensive and quick Accord hybrid, giving the Camry hybrid more than half again the city fuel economy of the V-6 model while keeping the price comparable and loading it with safety goodies and a plush interior. The cushy, quiet, family-size Camry hybrid costs about $2400 more than the compact Civic hybrid, which, unsurprisingly, it neatly wallops in sales. @ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: Introduction@ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Toyota Prius@ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid@ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid@ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid@ Best Selling Hybrid Cars: 2008 Ford Escape Hybridhttp://del.icio.us/rss/horisly...

Toyota Camry Virginia: Koons Toyota Can't Be Beat!
    2008-07-25 23:48:57
Two of my online pool player friends were quite ecstatic over my blog post on Koons Toyota! For starters, my billiards pals were currently on the lookout for sites selling Toyota Camry in the Virginia area, and found my article on Koons Toyota a very helpful read! They were also very delighted to know of the Toyota Camry Virginia website, particularly its promise that no matter what model of Toyota Camry one wants, it has! Moreover, my American buddies were happy with the ton of information that the site features on Japan’s number one automobile company. For example, they did not realize that Toyota Financial Services sells financing and participates in other lines of business, and that Toyota brands also include Scion and Lexus - the corporation is actually part of the Toyota Group! Yes, these are real hard facts, everyone! But wait, there’s more! My friends also didn’t know that Toyota also owns majority stakes in Daihatsu and Hino, and an 8.7% in Fuji Heavy Industries, whi...

    2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid Review
    2008-07-15 10:20:00
For a few years now, the auto industry has been dramatically shifting toward greener vehicles, particularly hybrids. Right now, Toyota is the clear frontrunner with three different models: the pioneering Prius, the Highlander Hybrid midsize SUV and finally the Camry Hybrid sedan. All of them enjoy strong sales, the Prius more so than the others. In response to critics who said that hybrids are always considerably more expensive than regular models, the Japanese auto giant made the Prius accessible to a larger number of buyers. Hot on the heels of the successful second-generation Prius, the Camry Hybrid was introduced for the 2007 model year. This is still the good old Camry as we know it. Aside from the powertrain, the only difference separating the hybrid from the gas-powered model is the pair of light-emitting diode (LED) rear tail lamps. Of course, there are subtle "Hybrid Synergy Drive" badges on the front fenders, but overall, the bodywork is identical, with the same flowing design ...

Value In The Toyota Camry Make It The Best
    2008-06-22 10:49:17
Do you know why cars like the Corolla's and the Camry's have invaded the U.S. mainland and why almost everybody else you know drives a Japanese? It's because the quality is just incomparable. I drove my first Camry back in 2001 and even back then the Camry's are the best. While I was driving that brand new white 2001 Camry, I couldn't argue. What struck me the most was the quality of the sound system. I was a big car tester myself back then. I drove a Grand Prix, a Sebring and about 5 others I couldn't remember anymore. 7 years after, only the Camry experience was the only one that stuck in my mind. Smooth drive, good acceleration and the built-in entertainment system are still the things that I remember with the 3 days I drove that Toyota.Koons, the biggest Toyota Camry dealer in Virginia gives you a chance to know more about this award-winning mid-size sedan and experience its driving pleasure. You definitely would want to check out their huge inventory of Toyota Camry Virginia area ...

Toyota Camry hybrid hallelujah for car industry
    2008-06-11 03:16:00
The Federal Government revealed it would help Toyota by giving it $35 million from its $500 million Green Car Innovation Fund, money Toyota said could help subsidise the higher cost of the hybrid. Premier John Brumby joined Toyota executives and staff at Altona yesterday to celebrate the announcement, but refused to reveal how much Victorian taxpayers would be kicking in to the project. It's also unclear how many jobs the new production line will create. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, who was at Toyota's headquarters in Nagoya yesterday for the announcement, said the new Camry hybrid would use 30 per cent less fuel than a conventional Camry, saving an average family who drove 20,000km a year $1000 from its annual fuel bill. Mr Rudd called the hybrid plan a "significant coup". ...

    2008 Toyota Camry Solara Review
    2007-10-29 10:45:22
What's New for 2008The 2008 Toyota Camry Solara coupe and convertible are unchanged.IntroductionUsually, the two-door variants within a model line are flashier and sportier than their four-door counterparts. This was true of the Toyota Camry Solara coupe and convertible right after they were redesigned back in 2004. Since then, though, they've been upstaged by the Camry sedan, which grew more powerful in last year's overhaul. The injustice continues into 2008, as the Solara siblings stand pat while winds of change swirl around them. Rival import-brand manufacturers have launched better-performing, edgier-looking coupes, and relatively affordable hardtop convertibles are crowding into soft-top Solara price territory. The Solara's diminishing appeal is due at least in part to its exterior styling, which although curvy and sophisticated, has never come across as trendy or youthful. This is particularly true when you look at the car from the back, as the rear deck appears to droop on bo...
