How To Secure My Gmail Data Transmission ?
    2008-08-19 08:14:21
Sending the mails directly from MS exchange to Gmail is not safe at all, because this process may put the company information at risk. When Gmail began to support HTTPS connection, the problem was addressed. Google and Gmail have always supported HTTPS so that we have to add “S” to the URL prefixes manually to [...]...

Test Drive: 2008 Ford Focus SES coupe with five-speed manual transmission
    2008-08-11 08:38:00
Ottawa, Ontario - It's not hard to feel vulnerable driving a small car these days, what with so many SUVs, crossovers and pickup trucks on the road. Naturally, when you're driving a compact car like my Ford Focus Coupe tester, you get nervous when you're stopped in rush hour traffic and hear the sound of screeching tires behind you.Luckily for me, there was a Dodge Ram pickup between my car and a skidding Toyota Tercel which careened into the back of the truck at something like 60 km/h. The Tercel, not surprisingly, was a write off, and the truck sustained a fair amount of damage from the impact too (while the two occupants of the Tercel were taken to hospital, the most serious injury was a broken leg). How does all of this involve me and the Focus? The impact was serious enough to shunt the truck forward into the Focus' rear bumper. One of the most impressive things about the car was how it held up to this not-insignificant rear-end impact. Where the Ram's front bumper was noticeably d...

    Transmission Joke Of The Day
    2008-07-28 19:04:00
Car Buying Tips To Save You Money Transmission Joke Of The Day.There were 2 men out hunting in the woods and they came upon a large hole in the ground. They could not see the bottom of the hole and were trying to determine how deep it was. They looked around and saw an old Car Transmission where someone had disposed of it in the woods."Lets throw this old Transmission in the hole and see how deep it is."They both struggled and tossed the transmission into the hole, but they never heard it hit bottom. About that time a Hunting Dog came running as fast as it could and dove head first into the hole. They both looked at each other bewildered, wondering what had just happened. About that time another hunter came running up and asked if the 2 had seen his dog."Well as a matter of fact we have. He came running as fast as he could and dove head first into this deep hole in the ground."The man looking for his dog said "That's impossible, I tied him real tight to an old Transmission."Be sure and...

Porsche's new PDK transmission trims 911 lap time on the 'Ring
    2008-06-19 07:46:00
Porsche decided to do a little 'Ring running in three different 2009-spec 911 models and quietly let the results slip during a press event. A 2009 911S fitted with Porsche's new twin clutch system (PDK: Porsche Doppelkupplung), Porsche Active Stability Management and "sport tires" took the top place, scoring a 7:50. The new PDK shifts a whopping 60-percent faster than the old Tiptronic S.The first place getter was followed by what is assumed to be a 2009 911S with a manual transmission some eight seconds back, and then a 2008 911 S another four seconds back, at 8:02. There's no word on who was driving the cars, or what exactly counts as a "sport tire."According to FastestLaps.com, Walter Rohrl did a 7:49 in a 997 turbo two years ago. If the next year's 911S is really that close to the twin-blower, that's not a bad feat. Still, the Cadillac CTS-V did the thing in 7:59 -- and so did the C6 Corvette that puts the current Porsche to bed and is an A-pillar away from the 2009... but who's c...

    CDMA Transmission
    2008-03-27 05:50:00
In CDMA, technique of data transmission conducted differs from the transmission at GSM. CDMA use the more peaceful transmission technique, because in this technological history early its beginning used for military.CDMA is true promise the data security if compared to an other technology like GSM, although we cannot say that the technology GSM is not peaceful. CDMA give the unique PIN code to every its user and only its user couple owning same key for the fox of code data accepted. In general, process the data transmission in explainable technology CDMA as follows. Consignor, for example BTS (Base Transceiver Station) will arrange the signal before transmission pass the air media. Data beet at full speed lower (for example 9, 6 kbps) beforehand will be multiplied encoded PN owning high fast (for example 1, 2288 Mcps). With the multiplication process will be obtained spreading energy at wide frequency band (for example 1, 25 MHZ CDMA). Signal spread over this modulation will with the cer...

    Transmission Patterns of Inheritance
    2007-10-26 04:37:00
Autosomal dominant:At least one parent is affected. Can affect both males and females. Every child has a 1 out of 2 chance of having the disease. Can result from a spontaneous mutation. Autosomal recessive:Both parent have the recessive gene. 1 in 4 chance of having disease, 2 in 4 chance of carrying the disease, 1 in 4 of being normal. X-linked dominant:An affected female will transfer the disease to half her sons and half her daughters. An affected male will transfer the disease to all his daughters but none of his sons. X-linked recessive: Most X link disorders are recessive. Offspring of carrier mom: for daughters, 1 out of 2 are normal, 1 out of 2 are carriers. Males have 1 out of 2 chances to have the disease, 1 out of 2 of being normal. An affected male does not transmit the disease but all daughters are affected.Mitochondrial:This type of inheritance, also known as maternal inheritance, applies to genes in mitochondrial DNA. Because only egg cells contribute mitochondria to the developing embryo, only females can pass on mitochondrial conditions to their children.Codominant:In codominant inheritance, two different versions (alleles) of a gene can be expressed, and each version makes a slightly different protein. http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/FESA http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/nAuu...

Getrag developing hybridized dual clutch transmission
    2007-09-20 05:40:06
Getrag has partnered with Bosch to develop a further enhancement of their PowerShift dual clutch transmissions. At the Frankfurt Motor Show last week they announced a hybrid DCT that mates an electric motor/generator to the side of the transmission. The motor is mounted parallel to the transmission shafts and is connected via an electro-magnetic clutch that allows it to connect to either of the two gear sets. The system enables full parallel hybrid functionality including power-boost, regenerative braking and electric only driving. The modular design allows for scaling of the motor output by simply using longer or shorter motors. Related: Getrag dual clutch gearboxes could hit 2 million a year by 2014! [Source: Getrag]...

Mitsubishi Motors Develops S-AWC Vehicle Dynamics Control System & Twin Clutch SST Automated Manual Transmission for New Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
    2007-07-11 15:51:00
Mitsubishi's S-AWC system (* Chassis-mounted components on current Lancer Evolution)Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has developed two new component systems that are expected to feature in the new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution*, due to be launched this autumn. S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) is an advanced vehicle dynamics control system that regulates drive torque at each wheel. Twin Clutch SST (Sport Shift Transmission) is an automated manual transmission that delivers slicker shifting through the gears while freeing the driver from the need to operate the clutch. In line with its corporate philosophy, Mitsubishi Motors strives to deliver a dynamic driving experience while making advances to keep drivers safe. Twin Clutch SST and S-AWC do so by making driving more intuitive. Both the systems work to efficiently distribute power appropriate to road conditions, and deliver outstanding control and stability maintained by an "intelligent" system that reads and reflects driver intent in real t...

Nisbath and Lineage of Spiritual Transmission
    2007-05-17 14:15:00
1.The Quran indicates one should 'enter houses by their doors' (2:189). The door of the Quran is the Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace, not only because he was the one through whom the Divine Revelation was transmitted to the rest of humanity, but also because he is the one whom God invested with the most knowledge concering the different levels of significance and meaning inherent in the Quran. The door to the Prophet is love. In fact, the Prophet, himself, has said that, 'no one can complete one's faith until the Prophet becomes dearer to an individual that the person's family and all of mankind.'The door to loving someone who loves the Prophet is 'nisbath'. Nisbath (meaning transmission) is the bond of spiritual resonance which inclines a seeker to learn from a given servant of God, while simultaenously inclining that servant of God to teach the seeker who manifests signs of such nisbath. The door to nisbath is adab or spiritual etiquetee. The door to adab is initiation into ...
