You may want to set a large font size so that it’s easier to reduce in size when required. Then write your watermark, crop it to size & save it in PNG file to maintain its transparency. Then reopen the file & right click the mouse to duplicate layer. Make one of the layers 0% opacity. The other layer should be around 40% to 60% opacity according to your desire.
