    Video Time: Old & New
    2008-05-17 00:00:46
It's Saturday, so it's time to break out another video.  Today I got two for you.  One features an old Dolphin and the other features one of the newest Dolphins. First up is the new Dolphin.  Below is Akin Ayodele, reporting from the Playboy Golf Tournament for Jim Rome Is Burning: So he seems like he's having a good time this off-season.  To be honest, I've always thought of him as a pretty good player.  But I never realized a) how big he is; and b) how outgoing he is.  He should get along well with a lot of the current players (Channing Crowder comes to mind right away). Anyways, the 2nd video is after the jump... This next video is a classic catch (really, one of the best you'll ever see) by one of the most popular Dolphins over the past decade.  It's Oronde Gadsden and his freakishly large hands making a remarkable catch against the Jets: So that's all for this week.  Barring any breaking news, I'll see you back here Sunday nigh...

    Video Time: Ricky Williams
    2008-05-10 00:00:43
It's Saturday, so let's get to a couple of videos. Today I thought we'd watch a little of Ricky Williams back in his prime.  Both of these clips are from the week 13 game in Buffalo back in 2002.  Notice that great burst through the line and then the finishing speed to break away from everybody.  What a combination of power and speed this guy once had. The first video is below.  The second is after the jump.   So that's if for now. Barring any breaking news, I'll see you back here on Sunday night/Monday morning. Have a good weekend, all! ...

Video Time: Phillip Merling and Jalen Parmele
    2008-05-03 00:00:02
It's Saturday, which means it's time for some videos.  Since rookie mini-camp is going on this weekend, might as well make video time feature two of the newest Miami Dolphins. First up is Miami's selection at #32, Phillip Merling.  Notice how he is always attempting to rip the ball out of the ball carriers' hands: Was it just my imagination, or did Merling look like an absolute monster out there?  And for a man his size, he can certainly move.  Next up is one of Miami's 6th round picks, RB Jalen Parmele.  Parmele is likely going to have every opportunity to win the 3rd RB job.  His video is below: Parmele looks like he could be a real steal and could be a guy who could potentially help keep Ronnie's workload lower early on in the season.  But, of course, we'll have to see how he does against some better competition. Thoughts below... ...

    Video Time: Draft Edition
    2008-04-12 02:28:27
It's Saturday, meaning time for some videos. I got two today that are a little more light-hearted. The first is a look at all of the NY Jets draft blunders. Good memories here - well, except for Jet fans: And the second video, which can be seen by clicking the "Read More" link, is a suggestion for what the Dolphins should do with the #1 overall pick. And with all this talk now about who they are or are not going to draft, perhaps this is indeed the best idea: I'll check back in with you all on Sunday night/Monday morning. Have a good weekend, all!! ...

    Video Time: Cornerback Edition
    2008-04-05 02:47:53
It's Saturday, meaning it's time for a video. Today, we got two for you. Both are of players the Dolphins could potentially target with pick #32 overall. The first is Arizona CB Antoine Cason: The second video is of Oklahoma DB Reggie Smith. Click "Read More" to see it. Here's Oklahoma's Reggie Smith, who could possibly play CB or S in the NFL: Feel free to discuss your thoughts on either of these 2 players below. Barring any breaking Dolphins news (which is unlikely), I'll see you back here Sunday night/Monday morning. Have a good weekend, all! ...

    Video Time: Jake Long Edition
    2008-03-29 02:20:51
Two videos for you today. Both are of potential #1 pick Jake Long. The first one is Jake Long against another potential top 10 pick, Florida DE Derrick Harvey. You'll see that he does a good job on Harvey, except for the first play where Harvey does kind of run over Long. And incase you're wondering what Jake likes to do in his spare time, see video #2 by clicking "Read More." Don't forget to cast your vote for the Bills' pick in our community mock draft, which can be found two posts below or by clicking here. I bet he's better than me at Guitar Hero. But I could take him on the field. Uh, yea, sure I can! Anyways, I'll see you back here on Sunday night/Monday morning. Have a good weekend, all! ...

    Video Time: Vernon Gholston
    2008-03-15 02:21:07
It's Saturday, meaning it's video time! Today I got two videos for you of Vernon Gholston. Gholston is becoming very hyped and is believed to be on Miami's radar as a potential #1 overall pick. Below are the videos. Notice, though, how just about every time Gholston gets to the quarterback, he's rushing from the right side, not to the left, meaning he isn't going up against the team's best offensive lineman (the left tackle). Either way, though, he does show off that great speed and strength that we've all heard about. So that's all for now. Unless any news breaks over the weekend, I'll see you back here on Sunday night/Monday morning. Also, be sure to cast your vote in The Phinsider Community Mock Draft, if you haven't done so already....

    Video Time: Prospects Edition
    2008-02-23 00:52:50
It's Saturday, and that means it's time for a video! Today, how about two? With the Scouting Combine kicking into full gear today, let's look at two short videos of a couple of draft prospects. The first one is of Matt Ryan, leading his team on a final drive against Virginia Tech. He does make some impressive throws. And if you like what you see here, be sure to send this video to any Falcons fan you know! If Falcons fans get excited for Ryan, maybe they will pressure ownership to move up to #1 and get Ryan. After all, that franchise needs to improve its rapport with fans anyway. This other video is of Tennessee State cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. This guy is a potential star corner. He's 6'2 and has some very good speed. And he'll likely run a 4.4 40. But because he's from a small school, he may be around when the Dolphins pick at #32. And if he is still there, the Dolphins MUST take him. I really feel strongly about this. Take a look below at Rodgers-...

    Video Time
    2007-05-13 09:30:06
Here's a video that was brought to my attention thanks to an e-mail from a reader. It's our new punter and our new punt returner/wide receiver. First of all, notice how insanely fast Ted Ginn is. Just another example of the kind of player he could be for this team. But also notice how freakin' far Brandon Fields punts the ball. He kicked it from well inside his own endzone and it ends up at OSU's 40 yard line. What a leg!...
