I was down with the flu for about a week and a half, thus, failed to update my posts and all. And I kid you not! So without further ado, here it is, friends!Congratulations to Filipino pool player Ramil Gallego, aka Bebeng, for winning the third leg of the First Senate President Manny Villar Cup held at the Event Center of SM City in Marilao, Bulacan! Bebeng Gallego of the Negros Billiards Stable (NBS), owned and managed by Mr. Jonathan Sy, defeated Carlo Biado with a 11-7 score. For those not in the know, the 41-year-old pool player from NBS is a 5x Japan Champion. Bebeng Gallego also recently won the 14-1 Championships in Japan before the historic Marialo, Bulacan Leg of the First Senate President Manny Villar Cup. Bonabente, Inquirer ResearchMANILA, Philippines -- Vice President Noli de Castro, viewed by the opposition as the administration’s “most formidable” candidate in the 2010 presidential elections, has posted his highest net public satisfaction rating since assuming office in 2004, according to the latest Social Weather Stations survey. Sixty-four percent of respondents were satisfied with De Castro’s performance against 23 percent that were dissatisfied, for a net satisfaction rating of +41, the December 2007 Social Weather Survey showed. His rating in the September 2007 survey was +38. De Castro has scored positive ratings in all 14 quarterly SWS surveys that measured public satisfaction with his performance as vice president. His lowest rating was +19, recorded in March 2005.
