Attack of the Funky Disco Zombie no es un típico juego online, sino algo distinto a lo que hemos ido viendo a lo largo de las semanas pues podría tratarse tranquilamente de una aventura para una consola portátil dada la calidad que desprende en todos sus apartados. Para empezar, la pantalla de juego mola y es original ya que simula una sala de cine donde se proyecta lo que estamos jugando, simulando un ambiente de terror casi cómico que parece sacado del universo de la familia adams. After all, I've been planning my life around the creation of zombies for a long time. OK, that last bit isn't really true, but I do think about it and I know what I'm going to do. So here are the steps:Arm yourself. The first thing you always do is arm yourself. Never walk anywhere, drive anywhere, or even fall down anywhere without a weapon. If you can't find a gun in your immediate vicinity, get a large, heavy, blunt object (a sturdy golf club works, or even a towel hanger--bats, clubs, and the like work too). This is the precursor to everything else. You cannot survive zombies if you can't defend yourself. Take all your nails, hammers, screwdrivers, screws, and any other relevant hardware, including rope. If you don't have these things, steal them from next door. If they don't have them, then you're screwed. Sorry, you can't even barricade yourself in your home without nails and a hammer. My advice is to hide and take a lot of sleeping pills so you don't wake up. The zombies will get you eventually. Or, well, plan better next time.The biggest rule of all: regardless of the type of zombies you are dealing with, if you have to fight, hit them in the head. Always. Period. If you have a gun, DO NOT shoot them in the chest or the leg and think they will stop. No, go for the head. It saves bullets and energy.Get in your car and take your family and any living neighbors with you. This is crucial. If you want to survive, you need reliable people with you.If anyone you encounter is bitten, shoot them. This sounds cruel, but the infection travels through bites, exposure to infected blood, saliva, and yes, even other fluids--it's an STD too. If you absolutely must take someone who is infected with you, keep a close eye on them and the second they die, or seem to have died, shoot them or hit them in the head. | | Day 4 - Where Are The Zombies | | 2007-12-06 17:02:00 | | Well, I made it back. I haven't updated this journal for a few days because I seem to be experiencing drops of power to my house. I always thought that I would have at least a few months worth of electricity before the big 'black out' would happen. I guess I was wrong. It's back on now but I am limiting the amount of electricity I use. I even broke into almost every house on the street to switch off all the lights and appliances. Desperate times!When I finally plucked up the courage to go outside I ensured I had my Zombie Outbreak survival bag with me (boy does that sound weird). I thought I would never get the chance to use this damn thing. It had been gathering dust for the last year in my garage. It basically has every thing I need to survive for three days. First Aid kit, food, water that kind of stuff. When I first opened my door for the first time since all this had happened the stench of the rotten dead hit me. Have you ever had a whiff of a dead dog or sheep? or maybe your pet hamster after it had passed away? Well, multiply that odour by ten and that's the smell. There were more corpses then I had ever imagined there would be. These lucky people were so mauled and 'damaged' by the initial Zombie outbreak that they couldn't possible function as a fully fledged walking dead.It felt strange walking outside for the first time. Everything was dead quiet (excuse the pun). No cars, no people, no modern day noise pollution that our ears have come accustomed to. I made a quick check of the area whilst I were outside. Finding a working car is going to be my next challenge. It was getting dark at the time so I limited my time outside. So far no more zombies. Where are they? Where have they gone? Also where are the survivors? Am I the only one?

I've been seeing this almost everywhere for a long time already but it didn't really catch my interests.Hard-to-pronounce titles turns me off ;)Anyway, it started airing in our local 24-hour anime channel. I saw the trailer and it looks interesting. Oh and I finally found out how to pronounce the title.Le Chevalier D'Eon is a story set in Paris during the mid-18th century. It's called Naegleria fowleri, an apparently little known amoeba that has deadly consequences. The good side of this is that it is not an epidemic and hopefully will not be flouted as one.According to the CDC, the amoeba called Naegleria fowleri (nuh-GLEER-ee-uh FOWL'-erh-eye) killed 23 people in the United States, from 1995 to 2004. This year health officials noticed a spike with six cases — three in Florida, two in Texas and one in Arizona. The CDC knows of only several hundred cases worldwide since its discovery in Australia in the 1960s.You can become infected rather easily, which is scary. Since Naegleria lives in just about any warm, watery environment one can simply get it and not even know it until it's too late.
