| Sportsnet.ca is reporting that the Buffalo Sabres have acquired forward Dainius Zubrus from the Washington Capitals.
Along with Zubrus, the Sabres get defenseman Timo Helbling.
The Washington Capitals received a first-round draft pick in 2007 and forward Jiri Novotny.
