kOrAbTech Finally Made It To PR2
2010-04-03 21:18:00
Happy Easter! Easter Sunday or the celebration of the Risen Christ is one of the reasons why the Roman Catholic Church is still alive after so many centuries of harassment, trials and struggles. And kOrAbTech also found one solid reason why we need to keep this Blog alive. In just four months, we finally made it to Page Rank 2. This is a hard-earned effort that we truly deserve. And what is the best thing about this great Easter Sunday News? We never get the chance to land on PR1. This is a big leap from NO PR, to PR0 and recently PR2. But as much as we deserve all the good things that had happened, we also owed this to our readers who's unexpected overwhelming support undeniably did a great part on this achievement. To Our Readers: We will continue to provide you with great useful posts. Please continue to share with us your comments and suggestion to help us improve further. Thank you everyone! This is for all of us. ...

Make Your Blog SEO Friendly
2010-02-19 00:15:00
By default, Blogger posts isn't SEO friendly at all. You will observe when viewing your article, the title header of your article is in this format: Blogname - Title. When search engines crawls for keywords, it will go first check your blog name instead of the post's title. The downside effect of this is that it will let you lose search engine rankings. Here's the tweak how to make your blog posts a search engine friendly. 1. Login to your account. Go to Layout >> Edit HTML 2. Search for this tag <title><data:blog.pageTitle/> 3. And replaced it with this: <b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'> <title><data:blog.title/></title> <b:else/> <title><data:blog.pageName/> | <data:blog.title/></title> </b:if> 4. Save your template. There's no guarantee that this will bring you on top of search results but having a SEO friendly blog have a greater chance of getting on top. ...

How To Utilize Pages in Blogger
2010-02-18 23:22:00
Blogger Standalone Pages is one of the useful section that has been ignored or probably not explored by many. And unlike your blog posts, pages doesn't include the dates it was created making its URL longer. Here are some of the useful lists on how you can utilize pages in your blog. 1. You can assign significant page to your blog's important section like: "About Us", "Disclaimer", Policies and others. 2. You can also use this to create a "Contact Us" form, And of course, this form is always paired with a "Thank You" page. I will have a separate post on this to further elaborate its usage. Where can we find this on Blogger? 1. Login to your account and click on "Edit Posts". 2. And then click on "Edit Pages" You will also be having the same tools as that of making new articles. Although Blogger only allows us to create only 10 Standalone Pages, but having this great feature is already a big plus helping us realize that there's still more to it than just having to post articles...

Facebook's Showcasing Its New Look
2010-02-06 06:11:00
I was a bit surprised this morning when I logged in to my Facebook. Well, I love its new outfit. It's a lot more simplified. The left sidebar has been properly optimized for the most commonly used tools like the list of friends and applications. Well, here the three things we will notice with the new look. 1. On the upper left, you will see three new icons namely: Friends Requests, Messages and Notifications. Those icons will be highlighted with the number of new items in it in red. So if you have 10 messages and 5 new requests, those numbers will be in red on top of those icons. A sure attraction grabber when you log in to your account. 2. Underneath it is being populated with the initial list of online friends, your commonly used applications, and links to your messages, friends request and more. 3. Lastly, on the upper right of the screen are the useful links to your Home page, Profile Page and Accounts Page. The Account link will bring you the pull-down menus of some of the t...

How To Protect MS Office 2007 Documents?
2010-02-05 01:41:00
I've been asked several times regarding this. And to be exact, my cousin is the 7th person to ask me how to get this done. So instead of just giving them stressful instructions, I would just rather refer them to visit my blog. Not to mention that most of them who have asked this trick are still novice to computer workarounds. So you could just imagine how stressful it would be especially giving the instructions through chat or phone. Well anyway, as of this writing, my cousin is impatiently waiting for this post to be available online. I will be demonstrating examples on how to do it on MS Word but the same applies to Excel and Powerpoint or just some slight differences. Important notes: First thing first, we probably have to identify if the document we want to protect is new or an existing one. You may proceed with the instructions if this is a new document. Otherwise, we are going to save another protected copy of the document and delete the unprotected ones. So here it is: 1. O...

2010-02-01 21:37:00
There's actually no hacking stuffs here. I'll just be sharing with how to access those unsecured cams which are being connected to the internet. They can be viewed anywhere around the Globe where internet access is not an issue. The best part here is that, you only have to use your internet browsers to access these cams.
