To pets owners in Amman (Amman's Best Veterinary Clinic)
2008-07-02 02:57:00
A lot of pets owners in Amman complain about horror stories with some of Amman vets. Maybe it's time for you to set back and relax. My brother Ala Shehadeh happens to be a young and very well versed Amman vet. He has a small vet clinic in Amman 7th circle. What is astonishing about his vet clinic is that it has been there for less than 2 years, and now he is the most recognizable and arguably the best veterinarian in Amman. This claim is based on hundreds of his clients testimonials.I am writing this post to propagate my brother's excellent reputation through the internet.Amman veterinary clinic offers the following services:An experienced veterinary care with a thorough knowledge in animal medicine and surgery.Cat and Dog Re...

Why Adsense Link Unit Rocks
2008-05-21 11:36:00
I have been experimenting with Adsense link units for the last couple of weeks. And the result was impressive. I almost doubled my CTR that of Adsense ad units.Link never caught my attention in the beginning of my adsense experience. And i always had this bad fist impression about them. "Who would click a link that will lead to a long list of links? ". It turned out that i was mistaken. And the reason is that i haven't put my self in the new visitor shoes. It's a very important (yet not easy) excersise to imagine the visitor's clicking activity.I will make this short and list the reasons why i think that link units rock:Adsense link units are relatively noninvasive if compared to ad...

I am Going To Space in 2009
2008-05-08 08:36:00
Isn't that cool to have your name stored on a DVD and sent to the outer space? :) If you don't believe me, click hereKepler is NASA's first mission capable of detecting Earth-size and smaller planets in the habitable zone of solar-like stars. The spacecraft is planned to be launched from Kennedy Space Center in February 2009. The spacecraft will be launched into orbit around the Sun, not the Earth, with an orbital period of 372 days. The spacecraft will slowly drift away from the Earth, such that in about 25 years it will be half an Earth orbit away, 300 million kilometers distant from the Earth, passing behind the Sun as viewed from Earth.Cosmos is vast! so vast to the point that it's statistically impossible to believe that we are alone!Kepler mission is ...

Google PageRank Update April 2008
2008-04-30 17:02:00
Rumors have been roaming the web for the last couple of days about a toolbar PageRank update. This turned out to be true and the update affected all my websites today. Some of them got promoted and others got penalized. Before you get surprised of your website PageRank, it's important to keep in mind that the number you see on the toolbar PageRank is several months old and it does not affect your current ranking on Google search engine. It's because Google updates it very infrequently and the numbers are actually old exports. ...

Google Adsense and the Content of Your Blog
2008-04-22 02:25:00
Note: This post is intended for the people who consider making money out of their blogs.A lot of people over the internet complain about Adsense. Some complain about a pitiful click through rate. Other folks bitch and moan about the irrelevancy of the ads displayed to the content and the list is long...I have been lately experimenting with Adsense on multiple websites of mine. Some of those websites are crappy with relatively decent traffic and low PageRank and some of high quality content and high PageRank, but with very low traffic. From my very own experience, i should say that the one who invented Adsense is genius. Adsense very much correlates with Google approach in maintaining a hi...

Ipod and Podcast are Different
2008-04-21 10:40:00
I am becoming a Podcast addict lately, but what really confuses me is that there's a general tendency among people to link Podcasts to Ipods. I have an Ipod, but i can't see it as a prerequisite to listen to Podcasts. I don't see any relationship between the two.You can listen to Podcasts using your computer speakers, your Mp3 player and even the radio. I see this as a misleading marketing approach to make people buy Ipods more and more. So I just felt like making this clear that Podcasts do not necessarily need Ipods. ...

Like-Concern-Suggest Six Sigma Tool
2008-04-19 14:53:00
From now on, i will be frequently discussing some of the cool Six Sigma tools that i have learned back in 2004 in an amazing 2-day extensive Six Sigma course. Today's tool is called Like-Concern-Suggest or LCS Tool for short. It's very simple and this is how it works:You morning started your day with an early meeting with your boss or co-worker to discuss a certain technicality in a project. Your boss throws an idea that you think will have some limitations when applied into the ground. You boss maybe unaware of it. There are tow drastically different approaches to present your point of view:You interrupt your boss and say "I have to disagree with you because this will not work since our platform is based on bla bla bla". This is such a negative way of prese...

Sony Ericsson K850i Review
2008-04-12 13:35:00
I have been using Sony Ericsson K850i for a while now. Here are the pros and cons based on my personal experience:The Goods:Very sleeky and stylish design. Especially the colored slip. I have the green one.The hardware components are very intact and rigid. It withstood 5 nasty falls till now :SWeight is distributed in a way that makes a perfect grip.Multitasking performance is much better than its predecessors models. An amazing 240x320 pixel 262.144 color TFT screen. Which makes the imaging, video and gaming experiences so compelling. The battery is very enduring even with an extensive use.A high quality sound output. With a decent equalizer. I can fairly say that the sound quality is a competent to ipod.Support to MP3, AA...

My Unpleasant Story with the Cube
2008-03-30 03:26:00
My 13 years old brother saw a video on youtube about the world record holder in 3X3 rubik's cube. This guy can solve it in 9.18 seconds. My brother was really amazed. So i decided to buy him one so he can play with it and improve his problem solving skills :)Once i finished work on Thursday, i went to a big toy shop in Madina Street. To my surprise, they told me that "we don't sell it here. No one asks for such toys". I nodded my head and headed to the next big toy shop in the same street and again i received the same answer. And the guys at the shop were staring to each other as if i am kinda freak with some social issues. At that moment, i realized that there's something wrong and i thought that maybe i am overrating this stupid rubik's cube.I continued my...

How To NOT Write a Good Email
2007-11-21 09:03:00
I like the labeling functionality in Gmail. It just makes my life easier. With a single mouse click, you can retrieve all emails with picture attachments. However, in my quest for perfect labeling, some emails turned to be really hard to label.I stumbled upon an email that i received long time ago, and i couldn't help but creating a new category called "stupid emails". Stupid because it lacks all the characteristics of a good email. I am not going to lecture you how a good email looks like. I just leave you with the email itself:Dear Blogger,Thank you for your submitting your blog to toot, we really appreciate all the effort you put into it and the fact that you choose to submit it to toot. We will be reviewing your blog each time we add more blogs to toot...
