For one kilogram of spaghetti, you'd dice up one onion and let sautè. You would then add in diced up pork or bacon and let both brown lightly. To this half a kilogram (around one pound) of skinless tomatoes cut up, and turning up the flame for a few minutes. Salt and pepper are then added. Boil your spaghetti al dente When the pasta is done mix with your salsa and sprinkle with grated pecorino. The authenic Roman recipe calls for pecorino, but you may use half and half; pecorino to parmigiano.Hope this blog site to be informativ...

Never Existed in Italy for Italian Dishes: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Parmigiano, Subs and grinders stuffed Fettuccine All'AlfredoThere is nothing like pouring a bucket of cream, along with cream cheese into a pot along with 6 strong lumps of garlic then adding in some pumpkin pie spices like nutmeg; to create an Italian food ....Alfredo's sauce wasn't really a sauce, but a familiar & simple invention made of melted butter & parmigiano-- Alfredo opened the first restuarant in Rome. Recipes that mimick Italian ones are nothing similar, they went wrong when they started to overdress foods, and over spice them. True Italian recipes will bring you back to simplicity. Shelved supermarket pasta's aren't all the same! I assure you that when italians visit other countries they prefer to eat only their own products, hmmm, I wonder why.If a famous brand of pasta is sold in your market check the manufacter country, Barilla made in the US is DIFFERENT than the Barilla pasta "Made in Italy" probably due to the fact that the quality of the ingredients themselves differ... could be that now the grains grown in many other countries are all gentically modified; read the labels!--from ItalyHope this blog site to be informative and fun!...
