2008-07-04 18:11:00
DAMIRworld Blog in Japan - Mt Fuji Top And Keepin It N-Ice & Underground.I climbed Japan's highest mountain "Mt.Fuji" with shorts, boots, a t-shirt, a bottle of water and a Mars Bar. What was I thinking at first - but at the end it was no problem mostly because i became numb from the cold - until the sun rose early in the morning. We took the train to the mountain.Mount Fuji (Fujisan) is 3776 meters - Japan's highest mountain. It is almost a perfectly shaped volcano and has been treated as a sacred mountain and is very popular for world travelers. People from all over world were there climbing Fuji-san.We started at 6:30 pm from the fifth station and arrived at the top at 1:00 am an...

DAMIRworld at a Aboriginal Native Indian pow wow powwow.
2007-12-02 12:54:00
Summary: We gather in a circle, everyone is equal, no one is higher, no one is above another and no one is better than the other. Powwow means gathering, or celebration.Where do I start and where do I end. I guess thats the point about a pow wow. There is no beginning and there is also no end. A spiritual journey never has either. Language as we know it, has no expression, catch phrase or saying to put this event in words. The best I can do is say wow. I was "wowed" by the " Pow Wow".I was at the Largest Multi-Disciplined Aboriginal Arts Event in North America. This year’s theme was “AKWE-KON” which means “everyone”. It was the 14th Anniversary of the Canadian Aboriginal Festival. And everyone was welcomed, all races and creeds.Do you know what a pow wow ( powwow ) is? Its a ga...

WHO CAN GO To CUBA- Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and Damir
2007-11-11 14:26:00
In Canada the winter season is harsh, most escape to Cuba legally--and Americans illegally.I don't really follow politics or follow any one, I love to travel and discover new lands and see the world. So much politics for a beach that is beautiful and the largest Caribbean island. My trip to Cuba was the time of my life and also very insightful to legal restrictions on Americans who visit there. We all want our passports stamped to remind us of our trip, but if your American you probably want to stay away from that passport stamp. I was shocked to here that restrictions still apply for Americans traveling to Cuba. To whom do these sanctions regulations apply? All U.S. citizens and permanent residents wherever they are located, all people and organizations...

DAMIR visits Canada's CN TOWER, TALLEST BUILDING
2007-08-11 15:45:00
Today was a wild adventure visiting Canada's CN Tower. and I'm so excited, let me tell you a little bit about this day.....it was like walking in the sky, you can see airplanes fly by right beside you and you feel like you are King Kong escaping the city. Leaving the hustle of the traffic below and stepping out of the big city life in less than one minute. Its like you are Superman able to scale the tallest building in one bound. In only 58 seconds, traveling up in the glass-fronted elevator you can see an unbelievable view as you race up at 22 kilometers (15 miles) per hour. Pressed up against the glass window your city gaze expands peripherally and opens up straight ahead in all directi...
